Specialising in Swim with Whale Shark Tours, 3 Islands Whale Shark Dive operate full-day snorkel tours between mid-March and mid-August. With courtesy bus transfers departing from Exmouth at 7.15am, and returning at 4.30pm.
Swim alongside whale sharks, snorkel the reef and spot seasonal sea life such as turtles, dugongs, manta rays, whales and more during this fun, safe and informative eco-tour.

We had an absolutely awesome experience with 3 islands. We had a lovely morning and afternoon snorkel with an amazing whale shark in-between. We were in with the whale shark about 5 times and the crew kept leap-frogging us ahead of it making it easier to keep up. The food was all lovely and the morning tea brownies were especially scrumptious! A huge thanks to every one of the crew who were great (Kate, Sasha, Sarah, Tricky and Sam). Also Brittney in the office was absolutely awesome when we needed to move around our booking at short notice. All of these staff make the experience an absolute dream! Highly recommend!This experience was absolutely incredible! Worth every single penny! The crew was great, the ship was lovely, and of course the whale sharks!! It was truly unforgettable and I am so happy I was able to experience it.

Everything is so well organized, starting from the website where you can find all the information you need to the moment they drop you back to your hotel. They come to pick you up at your hotel with a little bus, and they were perfectly on time, on the bus one of the guides explains some of the other things you can visit in Exmouth. From the pier they take you on the boat with a smaller one, all very wuick and quick. Once on board of the beautiful boat for the actual tour, they give you lots of interesting and useful information; they have all the equipment you need for every one (sting suit, snorkel mask fins), breakfast and lunch and a drink at the end is offered, they have the extra boat and an helicopter looking for whale shark and we did a few stops, a first one and a last one on the coral reef, that is spectacular, so many different corals, so many different species of fish, and then divided in two groups three other stops to swim with the whale shark, such an emotional swim! They are incredible animals! Bonus: a great photographer takes great pictures of everyone and after a few days sends you the link to the files, and you don’t have to pay extra for the pics! Totally recommend, we all (a family of 4, kids are 11 and 15yo) enjoyed it so much and it is totally worth the price. Last advice: if you suffer of sea sickness like me, just take the anti nausea pills! I took one in the morning before going on the bus (I feel sick also in the car!), one after breakfast and one after lunch and I haven’t been nauseous at all!The trip was amazing the staff omg such a great day the crew said that’s is was the best day they have ever had as there was 3 whale sharks that we say one 8 meter male one 7 meter unknown and one 3 meter unknown. The crew amazing the guide were Amazing at there job and the photographer gabby was so cheerful and so excited and happy and funny also they are all full of information about the sharks the other marine life and the corals you could ask them anything and they would be able to answer it ! Captain was great got us right up close and Dropped us off just in-front of the whale sharks. Overall it was amazing highly recommended and can’t say thank you enough to the amazing personal🫶🏼.Just finished the tour today. Cannot say enough about the enthusiasm of the crew.
