- Soft surfboard, booties and rash guard (surf shirt) are included.
What to expect
The first portion of your lesson is spent on land learning the basics of paddling, getting up and surfing a wave. The rest of the time is in the water with your professional, fun instructor sharing tips and information on how to actually surf! A safety briefing and all gear needed is provided. Minimum age for group lessons is 8 years and maximum weight is 225 lbs.

The experience was perfect, from check in process and service through the lesson. Our instructor was super friendly, good with our 15 yr old and 9 yr old, giving each age appropriate attention and instruction. They even let us use umbrellas and chairs complementary. We also loved setting, including poolside bar with good food and drinks. Highly recommend- and we are even going back for a second round of lessons!Our 17 year old son did a surf lesson with Greg and he had an absolute blast. He had no experience whatsoever before hand, and after an hour or so, he was riding the waves all the way to the shore! Greg was very patient and a terrific teacher!

My husband got there and I sort of did toward the end. It was fun and in a great location with a lot of local surf instructors and a great beach. Thank you!
