I highly recommend this tour for solo and family travelers! Tom was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Hotel pick up was on time and pick up van was air conditioned. Cold water was offered multiple times. We stopped to use the toilet and get additional refreshments on the way. The village offered a real experience including walking the dry lake (Dry season) and entering locals homes. We then took a boat to the floating crocodile farm and restaurant, which offered a wide selection of plates including crocodile, snake and frogs.

Tom was a great guide and showed and explained life in the village. The village was nice to see even during the dry season. We took a boat down to the lake and had dinner and watched the sunset on the lake. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide Tom was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a tour of the village of stilt houses and we were able to visit someone’s home and learn more about their way of life. During this time of year, dry season, we didn’t get to tour by boat but the experience was still very enjoyable and educational.

Even in the dry season this tour is well worth the time. Poun our guide was very informative and friendly. His knowledge of the village life and indeed being warmly greeted by some. Taking the time to get to know each person is a nice touch 😊 Enjoying a beer as you watch the sun set is a memory I will remember.

Tom the tour guide did an amazing job informing everyone about every aspect of the tour. Since it’s dry season the bus ride is a few minutes longer but it’s made up for by an extended stay in the village where we got to walk through a basic floating house. The ride out on the lake is not that far. On the riverbank you might catch a glimpse of a crocodile. The sunset from the restaurant is amazing. Happy I booked this tour with my girlfriend. As a reminder 35% of the ticket I bought goes directly to the community. I’ll happily recommend this tour to anyone who wants to catch a break from the city or the temples.
