I am visiting Sri Lanka for the first time with my nine year old daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Sri Lanka. It was our best decision to handover our itinerary to Hellow travels. From the day I inquired about the trip 3 months prior, planning the itinerary, answering all my questions, changing the iterinery as per my requirement and until the end of our trip Mr Dhanuka has been very supportive and very gentle throughout. He made sure we are well taken care. Our Cheauffer Mr. Chintaka was also supportive and was there for us whenever we needed him. Both were very gentle and changed the iterinery according to our needs. We want to thank Mr Dhanuka for giving us this wonderful experience in Sri Lanka . This was a once in a lifetime experience in all the right ways. Sri Lanka and its people are truly special, and I do not say that lightly. I’ve been lucky enough to spend time in wonderful places around the world, and Sri Lanka and its people are absolutely top of the list, thanks to Hellow Travel and especially to Dhanuka. Abundant wild life, spectacular scenery, magical temples, and beaches to rival the nearby Maldives, all packed into a country that is small enough to travel comfortably from north to south and less than a day, make this the perfect place for a holiday. But why would you do that, because every hour or so there’s a spectacular place to visit, something to see, or something special to taste or to experience. We had a private tour over two weeks of beautiful 4-5 star hotels, Glamping, safaris, great meals , and the best driver and guide you could ever hope for all for a very affordable price. But I leave the best for last - Dhanuka is an amazing person and thanks to him we really got to know Sri Lanka in a way that I have not done for any other place that I have been. He is fun, funny, smart, thoughtful, 100% trustworthy, and most of all patient and always has a smile. If you are lucky enough to have a chance to visit the magical place, jump on it, and be sure to go with Hellow travel and Dhanuka. You will be glad you did!

My friend and I did 13 days in Sri Lanka. It is a fabulous place to visit. We were extremely fortunate to work with Dhanuka of Hellow Travel who worked with us patiently as we had some of our own ideas about where we wanted to stay and what we wanted to do. He helped tailor our private tour with us with great patience and attention. We begged Dhanuka to come with us as our guide /driver for our 13 day jaunt around the island. Fortunately he came with us and he was amazing. Always flexible, always cheerful with a big smile, ready to do anything we wanted at any time of day, including many very early morning starts and always making sure everything went smoothly for us. Sri Lanka is a beautiful island. It’s a rare place where in a relatively small island you can see amazing Buddhist temples, fabulous safaris and beautiful beaches. We booked our trip to Sri Lanka for a week with Hellow Travel. Mr. Dhanuka was very professional and adapted the itinerary to what we needed. He helped a lot and answered all our questions which were a few… And our driver Thushara was the best, he was our guide too and an excellent person. Really good value for money. We highly recommend Hellow Travel services, you won’t regret!! We have had the best week ever in Sri Lanka.

So glad we decided to go to Sri Lanka instead of somewhere else this year. It’s a magical country with lots to offer. Warm humid beaches and misty cool mountains are all within a couple of hours drive. Our tour guide, Athula, took great care of us and went to great lengths to makes feel welcome and happy. He catered to all our needs. The program was nice and diverse for a short 7-day trip like ours. We travelled with 16, 11, and 4 year-olds and all had fun. Hotels were nice and staff were very friendly. Expect changes to the itinerary according circumstances.

We booked this trip pretty last minute, less than three weeks and everything was set up very well. It was an eight day trip which is doable but you will miss out on some sites. Our driver Athula was a wonderful man. Always concerned about our well being and making sure we understood what was going on and ensuring we had a good time. Only three of us on the trip and we upgraded to the larger van which was nice (we had some large luggage and concerned about trunk space). Booked the 4 star hotels and all were great, we did get some upgrades due to the current lack of tourist here and would recommend this or possibly the 5 star hotels as I don’t think they are that much more. Remember it is your trip and if you want something changed or dropped from the itinerary just ask.

SriLanka is a country of wonder and amazement, From the ever changing landscapes, wild animals and the delicious food. It is a country that has something for everyone. From originally booking our trip in 2019 Hellow Travel went above and beyond to assistance us rebooking our holiday in 2022. They ensured we had a memorable adventure with high quality hotels, car and even supported the purchase of a car seat to accommodate our six year old daughter. Our Driver Mr. Thushara was fantastic and knowledgeable, we had many conversations during our journey between destinations.

Lion's rock and mini Adams peak were our favourites. The journey and adventure was well worth the hike. Our driver provided thorough knowledge and background around each and every attraction and landmark for our resource. T was always willing and able to help in any way possible. Always going above and beyond, especially since having our 6 year old daughter with us.

On a very short notice the team organized a custim program to fit my budget and my plans. They were so fast to respond and flexible enough to accomodate all our needs. Once landed in Colombo all we had was to let them lead us and execute the program. Some hidden gems along the way are memorable and unique exleriences, the spice garden and the authentic village experience are a must do for any traveller. The choice of activities and hotels were spot on. We highly recommend them for anyone looking at exploring what the island has to offer while being assisted 24/7 by a team of local connoisseurs. Last but not least high credits go to Renuka our guide who combines humbleness, knowledge and hospitality. It would never have been the same without him and we will definitely come back for him as host!!!

It was an amazing way to explore Sri Lanka in a short period of time. I am truly happy for choosing Holiday Travel for my solo trip since they organized the whole trip in a best possible way. The driver Dinesh was extremely kind and helpful, making me feel safe and secure. He drove really safely and considering Sri Lankan roads That was a huge advantage. Our experience was perfect! well it all goes to the efforts done by Danuka from Hello Travel for providing the perfect itinerary and putting his lovely touch to hotel accommodations throughout the trip. Most importantly, assigning Renuka the wonderful cooperative professional driver whom we were lucky to have company through the tour. Well, I will be honest, our expectations were over met. When we decided to go with Hellow Travel, considering the moderate price provided comparing to other companies, we really thought that we will give out some of the professional courtesy and privileges for the provided modest price. But it was otherwise! having considerable experience in traveling my self, I do really rate those guys 5 stars for providing traveling services... I'm very glad i chose Hellow Travels for my 9D/8N (28th Dec 2019 - 5th Jan 2020) family trip to Srilanka. Mr. Dhanuka Prasad is a very knowledgeable and friendly person. He was available 24x7 round the clock and helped me a great deal in finalizing my itinerary, getting me ETA(visa) and clarifying any doubts i had. I was travelling with my parents (60+ yo) and an infant (3yo) and hence i specially asked Dhanuka to provide me with a very caring driver. He totally did his 100% in this matter. We were allotted a Tourist board approved Chauffeur Mr. Ahamad who is GEM of a person! We felt very safe with him all through the tour and he went out of his way to help us all through the trip especially in getting good deals at sightseeing/activities and finding decent indian restaurants for lunch and dinner. He also very punctual and made sure we covered the entire itinerary and a few extra sightseeing places too! We visited Colombo, Pinnawala, Sigiriya, Trincomalee, Dambulla, Kandy, Kitugala Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Galle, Bentota. The White water rafting at Kitugala, water sports at Bentota, Zipline at Ella were highlights of the tour. Mr Dhanuka booked very good hotels offering breath taking views from the hotel rooms/windows and a very tasty breakfast in a decent budget. He even managed to get 6 train tickets for us on the Nanu oya - Ella train which was a beautiful train ride offering amazing views of tea plantations and waterfalls. Only one major hiccup i had in the tour was at the hotel in negombo - Hive 68 Hotel. Despite Hellow Travels requesting them for accessible room for my parents, the hotel staff allotted rooms in 2nd floor which was very upsetting. I hope Hellow travels' management takes the necessary action against them with regards to this matter. This was the first international trip to 4 of my family members and Mr. Dhanuka really made it a memorable one for them. I would 100% recommend Hellow Travels to any one planning to visit Sri Lanka without a second thought. We’re couple of experienced travelers, visited ~70 countries, but for sure this trip we’ll remember. We had the really amazing guide Thushara, who took care about us as we were his guests. We were able to rely on him and relax without focusing on organizational issues. He is really professional, knowledgeable, knows his job very well and really outstanding person. We miss you. Now we have the same type of tour in India and wish the current guide could be even compared with Thushara. From organizational point of view we really would like to thank to Hellow travel and particularly to Dhanuka: he double checked all details as soon we booked, find perfect hotels, mostly on hb basis (which were convenient, as hotels were mostly remote due to the specificity of the tour), great car for 2 (Toyota Prius), checked multiple times if we are ok on the tour. We visited Sri Lanka for 8 nights and 9 days through Hellow Travel. It was nothing less than perfection. It started even before we started our trip, from Visa suggestions to personalising our itinerary to suggesting what places we should and should not visit, they covered it all. Everything from the pick up to the drop off was taken care of and we had nothing to worry about. Special shout out to our travel guide Chinthakala, he was fabulous.
