Overview
Our knowledgeable local guide make our tours a more fun and authentic experience. We do the work to find the best possible viewing points. During your tour, you will be provided with blankets, hot chocolate, snacks. We will also take some high quality photos that will be emailed out after the tour.
Depending on weather and sunset, the tour pickup might adjust its time. When choosing your meeting point, we meet at the tour bus stops located in the downtown area. We email tour confirmation the day of the tour between 5-7pm, please make sure you check your email. Contact us if you have any issues.
We suggest booking this tour for your first night- in the event the weather is unfavorable, there is time to reschedule.

Traveler pickup is offered
Pickup can take up to 45min, please do not worry if we are not there right at the start- we will arrive. If you are in the downtown area, we will meet you at the tour bus stops. Outside of the downtown area, we can offer direct pickup at your accommodation within Reykjavik. If you are selecting a cruise port, please verify that the ship is arriving in Reykjavik. We are unable to pickup at the other ports- they are very far from the city. We do not pickup outside of Reykjavik- we can arrange outside Reykjavik pickup via our private tour option.
Pickup can take up to 45min, please do not worry if we are not there right at the start- we will arrive. If you are in the downtown area, we will meet you at the tour bus stops. Outside of the downtown area, we can offer direct pickup at your accommodation within Reykjavik. If you are selecting a cruise port, please verify that the ship is arriving in Reykjavik. We are unable to pickup at the other ports- they are very far from the city. We do not pickup outside of Reykjavik- we can arrange outside Reykjavik pickup via our private tour option.

We went for a night hunting for Northern Lights and our tour guide which was a lady was very accomodating and lovely however, the weather did not permit us to see any huge Northern lights but just a baby/fainted one. The tour even offered us coffee and biscuits. Such a wonderful company and people.

They were very communicative and almost immediately answered any questions I had via email and the TripAdvisor communication tool. The tour guide also provided us with copies of the photos he took with his DSLR, which was great. Room to improve: i was disappointed that we could not see the Northern Lights on this tour. They only took us to one stop, and it was on a hill right next to the road, and right above a row of houses that ALL had their outdoor lights on. I was expecting for them to take us somewhere with no light pollution so that our eyes could actually take in the aurora, but it wasn't quite possible in this spot.J_SLLin

I can totally live with no northern lights to see because of the weather, because I know it’s totally unpredictable. However, the only thing that’s unacceptable to me is the last-minute change of people number limit of the group! It said there’s a maximal number of 12 for the group, but right on ...

However, the only thing that’s unacceptable to me is the last-minute change of people number limit of the group! It said there’s a maximal number of 12 for the group, but right on the day of departure, we were told there would be a change. By the time we got on the bus, the number in the group has reached 20!! And, there were two buses of 20 people, which was so unbelievable! We feel like we were deceived! If this information has been disclosed a few days ago and the agent have asked if it was acceptable to me, I wouldn’t have felt inappropriate either. Nonetheless, this last-minute notice seemed not respectful to customers! It was not like this situation happened just now! The quality of tour has totally been compromised, let alone there was barely northern lights and the excuse of this sudden people increase was that there was strong northern lights this evening!jimsH6345QE
