CLAUDIA our tour guide was out standing and wonderful person....
The tour was good. Not enough time in Positano. The ride has excellent views of the Amalfi Coast. Enjoyed the boat ride around Amalfi.
Well worth going with the small-group. We were able to get in and out of the tight areas in these very small towns. Guide kept us well informed and had the right mix of tour and free time to explore on our own. Hilltop lunch with some new friends was a highlight.
Pick up at the coach park at 9am then did the round of hotels to pick up others. A lovely trip down the Amalfi Coast via Positano, Amalfi, lunch okay but nothing special in a small village and finishing off in Ravello. The group agreed to do the optional boat trip in the Amalfi Bay which was worth the extra 12 Euros each. We were dropped off at our hotel. Tony was our guide -he spoke great English, educated us in everything regarding culture, cuisine, and the geographical area, and did it in a most entertaining manner. Worth doing the smaller group so you can get into Positano as some of the larger coaches cannot.
Bit too crowded on the coast - suggest an earlier start time. We had 1.5 hour delay.
Date of trip changed st last minute, lucky I had access to Internet and was checking emails.
Minibus rather cramped and rather dark inside. This is significant since we spent more than half our time on the road.
Had four one hour stops.
Tour guide OK but not up to usual standard. She handled a request by other couple for a boat trip vey poorly.
Have had much better tours through Viator and given the cost of the trip I do not believe it is good value and would not recommend to others.
unbelievably beautiful. Breathtaking views and plenty of time to explore on your own. Loved this tour!!
Excellent small group tour. Amalfi, Positano and Ravello were excellent. Lunch was very disappointing.
Do get me wrong the scenery was beautiful, but it's essentially a bus ride on a windy road. The villages we stopped at were small except for Amalfi and one of them was just the lunch spot. Too much time for shopping, especially since everyone is selling the same thing. Would be better to have the only stop be Amalfi and have time to swim, lunch on your own etc. The scenery was beautiful but many pictures will be worthless as they were taken through a bus window.
Fabulous! This is exactly the tour as described and what was expected. Laura was a wonderful guide and Matteo was a great driver given the winding, narrow and steep roads. Each town was unique and beautiful - we enjoyed Positano, Amalfi, Lunch in Pontone, and Ravello - all were breathtaking. We took the optional boat ride in Amalfi and it was so worth it. Laura was fantastic at pointing out the sights of interest and was a wealth of knowledge. I would highly recommend this tour.
On time, excellent guide Alberio, excellent English, very safe driver.
Tour was as advertised. It is a long day. be prepared lunch is between 2-3 PM.
As typical with Italy, not every site is open: under repair, etc. This is not the guides fault.
Alberio also helped with some local suggestions upon our return to Sorrento.
Scenery was tremendous, local lunch and wine was fine....more than we could eat!
Would book again!
Nice tour, with free time at each stop. Good and informative guide.
I would recommend everyone experience the Amalfi Coast while in Italy. The scenery and towns are breathtaking. The day tour was enough to get a wonderful taste of the history, the beauty and the majesty of this area.
Great opportunity to have a whistlestop tour of Amalfi.
Don't need longer than this really - tour was right length to see the quick sites and beauty!
I don't know how the drivers get round those roads :-)
Favorite part of my trip! Amazing views and lots of time to stop and explore the towns. Guide was very good as well.
This was a very nice tour. The tour guide was average - not bad, not great. But it's the beautiful scenery you want to see here rather than a knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide. It rained quite a bit for portions of the trip...but that's not the fault of the tour. All in all - a good tour.
The Amalfi coast is amazing and we enjoyed this tour. Th boat ride down the coast cost was not included and the tour guide kept saying that she had it 'll lined up for us as a special surprise, then while on the boat she tells us we owe the captain for the boat ride. This should have been disclosed upfront. The lunch was just ok. But the tour itself was very interesting and I would recommend for anyone that wants to experience this beautiful coast.
Great value, great locations visited, great tour guide and driver. Nice that it was a small group. Lunch included which was good. Overall to be recommended.
It was great. Got a feel for many different parts and got to hang out by the beach a little bit. The tour guide didn't have to talk the whole time, but other than that, it was great! Lunch was good too.
The guide was very good. Enjoyed the tour. Only problem was the leg room on bus. My husband and I are both 6 feet tall.
Our guide was very nice and informative, kept us on schedule to see all the villages and sites along the way without ever becoming abrasive. Had plenty of time to shop or visit historical places. Van was comfortable and small enough to get us to the right spots and keep us out of jams. We had a wonderful lunch up in the hills in a small village, delightful.
A delightful tour well organised, excellent guide and smashing lunch. Would gladly do it all again.
There were only 15 of us which meant the guide could answer all your questions. Although we went on the minibus, as the weather was do good the guide arranged for a boat trip when we reached Amalfi. The Coast is beautiful. It was lovely to have a leisurely lunch in a village that you would never have found yourself. Probably not the best tour to do with children, our teenage daughter was not as engaged as we were.
This was a wonderful way to spend a day discovering the Amalfi Coast.
