Glen gave our group expert and friendly training on what was a new and slightly unnerving mini Segway model. I’m a seasoned Segway rider but never on one without a handlebar. Where he truly impressed me was the kind and patient interaction with my good friend, Y. Within 2 min of getting on her Segway, Y was ready to quit. She was terrified and unsteady and didn’t want to be on the machine a second longer. Knowing if he let Y stop so soon, she would never gain confidence and would have an unfair opinion of the Segway, he kindly encouraged her to try it once more. With patient guidance and small bites, he got Y gliding, turning, stopping, and generally more comfortable on the Segway. The rest of our group quickly became confident and comfortable on the Segways with Glen’s excellent teaching. Y ended up doing the tour on a bicycle since she felt the Segway wasn’t her cup of tea, but at least she made her decision as a Segway rider and not a frightened Segway virgin. We’ve been on many Segway tours with nice tour guides, but Glen truly cared about our experience. He believes everyone is capable of becoming a confident rider, and works to make this happen. He’s a wonderful teacher, and a super guide! Thank you Glen!

Riding the Segway was enjoyable and easy to learn. We enjoyed the grand harbor sights and lustrous forest while the tour guide(Glenn) gave us history facts about the landmarks around Stanley park. The guide taught us to ride segways in a simple and easy to understand form, friendly and caring. We all had wonderful time.

First time segwaying on machines without a handle bar to hold on to, so a few nerves before starting. Very patient one-on-one instruction to start and there is plenty of time provided in a small training area to get comfortable with the segways and get used to having nothing to hold on to. Once we were confident, we headed out. Spent heaps of time around coal harbour and viewed Canada place before completing a full lap of Stanley park sea wall. Had time to take multiple breaks and enjoy the view. My feet and legs were thankful as they were aching at the end of the tour but in a good way. Great, fun way to see the area.

Brilliant way to see Coal Harbour and Stanley Park. Glen was a great tour guide and gave us both confidence through his excellent tuition before we set off on the tour. A must do way of seeing Stanley Park with great views of the surrounding harbour

After spending time familiarising yourself with the mini Segway, we had an amazingly comprehensive tour round to Coal Harbour before heading to the beautiful Stanley Park & along its Sea Wall. Plenty of photo stops & breaks to take in amazing views & all led by a great guide who was both friendly & professional in his approach. So glad we did this trip & would thoroughly recommend it.

Glen was excellent. It was just my daughter and I on the tour and he was so accommodating with the pick up to get us to the start point. He was patient over the learning and adjusted the route brilliantly. Thank you Glen would highly recommend.

This was a fun outing. Glen was knowledgeable, fun, and an excellent instructor. The content and the pace of the tour were ideal, and although lots of folks were out enjoying the fine weather, navigating the crowds posed few issues. We’d definitely take this tour again.

Glen is an excellent coach & trainer that got me ready in the mini Segway within 20min. The route is properly designed to ride thru the Canada Place and the Stanley Park. Glen gave me all details of every spots that were so interesting & inspiring. Highly recommended!

A fabulous well organised tour from start to finish. Glen responded quickly when we first contacted him and was set up on a tour in no time. We were picked up from our hotel promptly and spent the next few fun filled hours with him. After some great instructions where Glen made sure we were comfortable we were then off. Fantastic views, very informative and interesting facts along the way with plenty of description. Glen was very friendly and professional. We cannot recommend him more highly! We found this place firstly on Google and ultimately ordered it via TripAdvisor. For me, reading through recent reviews is very important before reserving. Having read the reviews, I was convinced this would be a ton of fun for myself and my 16 years old son. After making the reservation, I was able to call the business’ telephone number and spoke to Glen on several occasions just to confirm the reservation and meeting spot, He was very courteous in answering my questions. On the day of the excursion, he spent a good 30 mins ish just showing us the do’s and dont’s with a Segway. He was very patient and wanted us to not only have a good time but also preaches on safety. At no point we felt that we spent too much time on the training portion before we hit the road. Once we were on my merry way with Glen guiding, we felt as if we mastered the basics of operating a Segway. This is kudos to Glen’s teaching style and affable personality. Throughout the 3.5 hours excursion, we took good amount of short breaks to stretch our legs and he took the time to let us know the history and tidbits of our surroundings and snapped pictures of us on our phones. We came away from the excursion loving our Segway experience and just an amazing chill time breezing through the bike lanes and enjoying the wonderful weather. I would definitely recommend this company and Glen for their professionalism, keen to safety and allowing the customers to have a jolly good time.

My 14 year old son and I took the Segway tour. Stanley Park was amazing and the Segway made it possible to see so much more than if we had been walking. However, having to balance the Segway without using handle bars was extremely difficult because we had to use our legs and thighs to stay balanced. We both were were extremely sore the next day or two, especially me. I do not recommend this tour for middle aged moms.

Our family just had a fabulous experience through the Stanley Park and Coal Harbour Segway Tour. It's my son's first time with Segway, and Glen did a great job training him how to ride it. It was a fantastic experience to tour the large park on Segway. Strongly recommend it!
