The tour was well-planned, covering all the great appellations and domaines we had hoped for. Our guide Romain Reinhart has excellent knowledge of all things Burgundy wines! He was attentive to our need. Highly recommended for anyone who is a wine novice or enthusiast!

We really enjoyed our tour. Our guide, Tom (aka Thomas?), was very knowledgeable, funny, and enthusiastic. We felt very comfortable, and he gave us a list of recommendations for us to taste/try in regards to what we can probably find in the states. We learned so much about the Burgundy region in a thankfully easygoing and unfussy setting. I kind of wish I brought a folded map of the region to take notes on prior to the tasting, but I think that’s just me being a nerd.Excellent tour with a well informed and friendly tour guide. Very fun itinerary, we couldn’t have had a better guide (Johan), and superb wine and food! Highly recommend! Great restaurants in Beaune during the middle of the day. If you want to visit the hospital in Beaune make sure to either get tickets ahead of time so you have a reservation or dont spend too much time at lunch (an hour) so you have the other remaining hour at your visit to explore the hospital. Another note about shipping wine to your home if you decide to buy wine, ask your tour guide how this works before purchasing the wine if you don’t already know. From my understanding, you can ship 6 bottles of wine to the USA for $120 for shipping only in addition to the costs of the bottles of wine. The 6 bottles of wine also don’t all have to be from the same winery. If you decide to purchase the wine and have it shipped, you have to pay the higher price for the bottle for the VAT(?). Long story short, plan ahead if you’re purchasing the wine bottles and shipping them back home.This was our second tour with Authentica. This was our second tour with Authentica. We took a private full day tour 4 years ago and came back with another couple for another full day Burgundy visit. In both occasions our guide was Jeremie; I must say he gets better with time. He was great; very knowledgeable and more engaging. He was able to identify our tasting preferences and modified our afternoon tasting accordingly. He schooled us on geology, farming and viticulture in general. We all enjoyed our visit very much and would definitely come back.This tour was really fun and a great way to see Beaune. Paul was a very knowledgeable sommelier that was able to answer all of our questions about the wine making process, the area, and the history.
