Stop At: Meknes, Morocco
Pick up at 10.00 am from your stay in Fez, In a comfortable – air-conditioned vehicle. On route stop to capture photos for a lifetime. In addition to, enjoy cool air at Ain Lah, Royal family firm, Zagotta, attractive Dam ACHAHAD, and Rif mountain
Upon, Arrival to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Explore the remains of the 2, 000-year-old complex and learn more about the historical & cultural Roman city that looking at the ruins of the Arch of Caracalla, Basilica and Capitoline Temple. Enjoy free time to discover a place on your way
After that, Continue, to Moulay Idriss The holiest Islamic town, monument and mosque opened just for Muslims. But, it gives to visitors an excellent impression, just by taking a look at the hallway of the town. It’s a panoramic view. After that, We’ll watch elongated square above us, green-tiled pyramids of the Zaouia and stroll between the labyrinth of clean alleyways. Break for lunch at local or chic restaurants in
Following lunch, start the Meknes city tour Go into the Medina. So as to, discover monumental city gates dating back to XVII-century. Such as Royal Palace, Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis, a famous gateway in north Africa Bab Mansour and ornamental decorations of the Spanish-Moorish architecture. Moreover, stop at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, founder of the Alaouite dynasty and sultan when Meknes was the capital city. Generally, our tour will not complete without a Visit to Place el Hadim, El Heri es-Souan huge granaries & stables built by Moulay Ismail’s soldiers and the Museum of Moroccan Art. At the end, of Meknes Volubilis and Moulay Idriss Day Trip back to Fez (drop off your stay).

Volubilis is definitely the jewel on the crown of this tour. It was so unexpected to find so many Roman remains in this part of Morocco. We were given one and a half hours to wander through the ruins and take photos. There were lots of local guides there to hire if required. We could easily have ...
Volubilis is definitely the jewel on the crown of this tour. It was so unexpected to find so many Roman remains in this part of Morocco. We were given one and a half hours to wander through the ruins and take photos. There were lots of local guides there to hire if required. We could easily have spent another hour there! Some of the mosaics were wonderfully preserved. Moulay Idriss we only drove through. Meknes was a bit of a disappointment. We drove through the city while our guide explained what the main monuments were. Unfortunately we couldn't see much because there were so many buildings undergoing reconstruction. We were taken to a restaurant for lunch but we chose to explore a little on foot and do some shopping rather than waste time eating. Our guide was really nice and helpful and always willing to help and give suggestions. The only disadvantage was that he only spoke French. A huge thanks to Soukiana who very kindly organised this tour for us and also our pick-ups from Fez airport to Fez and back again. She was always available on Whatsapp to help us with everything. Thanks to her our whole holiday was a success!Excellent!! Very well organized and giving us just the right time to appreciate each visit (place). Plus, Ismail was always very kind and avaiable. Great atmosphere even while traveling between places. Highly recommended!
