We loved this tour! Our guide, Mattia, was extremely knowledgeable about wine making and the region. We stopped at 3 lovely wineries and had a delicious lunch at one. We also stopped in the little town Montalcino as well as another stop at a medieval Abbey (and had time to walk around each). In between stops Mattia kept us entertained by explaining the history of the area & wine as we looked out the window at the beautiful countryside. We appreciated the small size of the tour (only six of us in the van). We thought the price of this tour was well worth all that was included. I wish I could give it more than five stars. What a great day! 🙌😊

we did 2 different day trips, and both were so wonderful. we learned so much about the region and wines and the wineries, the scenery was breathtaking our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the day even better. Would highly recommend.!!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Mattia (apologies if I have misspelt his name), was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and an excellent storyteller. He told us about the history of the area, the intricacies of wine growing, the techniques that winemakers use, and so on. All of it brought the experience alive.

Daniel, our guide, was brilliant and engaging. The weather was perfect. The day was a great study of wine and culture. Loved the group of six.

Didn’t meet expectations. Wines were below average as was lunch. For $200 per person, we expected a better tasting experience.

The wine tour was amazing! We went to 3 different wineries and enjoyed a fantastic lunch at one of them. We got to taste a lot of wonderful wines and some great olive oils! Mattia our tour guide was very entertaining and full of knowledge about the wines and the Tuscany region! It was an amazing day spent in the wine country. I would highly recommend going on this tour!

We had an outstanding day tasting Brunello di Montalcino! Mattia was the absolute best guide; he is so knowledgeable not only about wine but also about history. You will have a blast on this tour; highly, highly recommend as it was one of our favorite days of our trip!

This was one of the most amazing trips to Siena's wine countryside - all wineries had the most gracious hosts/hostesses, shared some of the best wine food along with the best wines of the regions. The guides were most wonderful.

This was by far one of the best tours we took in Italy. IF you are lucky enough to have Enrico(Elio?) as your guide, you will be regaled with tales and history of the area. He taught us about the unique qualities of the Brunello grape, the very specific growing methods and processes used on the vineyards (organic). The three vineyards shared their reasons for barrel choices and we were treated to gorgeous views of the vineyards and olive groves overlooking the hillsides. We enjoyed the various ‘seasons’ of the wine…some very young and others more mature, and we could, of course purchase our favorites. We had a lovely lunch at one of the vineyards, hosted by it’s rather demonstrative owner. The actual travel through the region was so picturesque, and we stopped at a medieval Abby to enjoy the gardens and revel in the mystique of its ancient history. Montalcino was a quiet, quaint town nestled in the hills and we roamed the narrow cobblestone streets and climbed the entrance to an ancient fortress, enjoying the rolling scene below. What I’ve learned on these tours is that your guide is the important factor—and ours was AMAZING. His family has a small vineyard in the Chianti region and he shared so many interesting facts about the entire process, peppered with stories of his family and personal life. For a short while, we were all an Italian family, eating and drinking our way through the day.

Fun trip! Views were amazing and Elio was a funny and informative tour guide. Got to learn a lot about how the different wines are made and of course, the wine was very good!

Fantastic guide! Had been a winemaker so knew all kinds of helpful and interesting information. Went to 3 wineries- each different. Had a fantastic lunch at 2nd one. Got to see an old Abbey, and time for walking around charming city of Montepulciano.

Mattia was so knowledgeable and full of fun stories. He was worth every penny spent. The wineries that we visited were all very unique. The lunch! The location was fabulous. The hosts were even more fabulous and their wines amazing

It was an amazing tour. We had a personable guide / driver who entertained us along the way. We visited small family wineries and the hosts were informative and welcoming and the wine was great! We visited 3 wineries with a light lunch at the second one. Honestly, could have skipped the 3rd one, as it began to seem much the same, though the host was lovely. The driver was kind enough to drop us off closer to where our car was parked at the end of the day -- very much appreciated it!

The tour was awesome! We had the opportunity to check out three distinct wineries in the absolutely stunning region of Montalcino. The wines were fantastic & the info from our guide, free time to explore, and the group we were with made for an awesome day :)

It was a great day. Visited 3 small producers. Lunch at a wind makers home - outstanding - including the wine, food, company, view and kitten! Highly recommend. Our driver and guide was amazing. Great energy, great stories and information and he really made the trip on Nov 7.

Enjoyed this very much. Tour guide was knowledgeable of the region and classifications. Explained the difference between Brunello and Chianti regions and grapes used for both. We visited 3 vineyards. All were excellent and some of the tastings were intimately catered in a home. I can’t think of a more memorable experience to enjoy wine. Thank you!

I did this tour with my mom and husband last week. Our guide Checco was awesome! He shared so much information about Brunello di Montalcino and the surrounding region and he brought us to 3 wineries that we really enjoyed. The group size was perfect- not too many people, so the tastings still felt intimate. The wines we tasted were fabulous and we bought several bottles to enjoy during the rest of the trip (and a case to ship home). Our guide Checco was very friendly, he was a safe driver, and he was very patient with me as I practiced my Italian and asked him countless questions about daily life in Tuscany. He also didn’t stress or rush us when it became clear that our tastings were going a little longer than planned (I <3 “Italian time.”) I would definitely recommend this tour!

The wine pairing lunch was phenomenal. Our hosts were exceptional. Driver, and guide--Keeko were professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Mattia our guide was the best! Knowledgeable, fun and full of information. We loved all 3 wineries we visited and loved sampling delicious wines and meeting the winemakers. Highly recommend!
