Sloth Watching Trail
Overview
We have about 2 miles trails with a rich biodiversity so we also be able to appreciate some birds, frogs, insects and other wildlife around.
This adventure takes almost two hours to be done but it’s a gentile hike in a flat land 30 acres property.
The trails are mostly under shade with some open areas so you only we’ll need some bug spray.

We had a couple of hours to kill before a shuttle picked us up and thought this would be a quick easy add it. First, although we absolutely loved the tour and feel we got value for our money there are a couple of things I would recommend. We did not book in advance and thought we could just show up, I would not recommend doing that (at least not on Canadian March break). We had to wait a long time but they fit us in, not their fault, we should have prebooked. Once we go t moving it was amazing, we were not 10 minutes in before we saw sloths! Both kinds, a mother and baby! The guides were very helpful and even took our cell phones to take close up pictures through their scope! We got so many amazing pictures!Outstanding tour with our guide, Jhonny. We saw 10 sloths, poisonous frogs, a snake, toucan’s and plenty of other local birds! Not sure we would have seen any of these without Jhonny’s expert eye! He even took iPhone photo’s for us through his telescope, so we have some amazing photo’s to show ...

If you are booking a sloth watching or coffee, chocolate and sugar cane tour, ask for Sergio. He is the best! Such a nice guy who entertains you a lot and knows interesting stuff. Also his English is good so you can understand him very well. To be honest, when booking the tour we asked ourselves if the sloths were brought to this park but this is not true. After the tour I can tell you: They are totally free and live there because there are the right trees with leaves they are eating. This was the best tour our guide Sergio was amazing he found many sloths and made sure to help get photos and videos with the scope for really upclose shots. They used a laser light to point out exactly where to look so you would not miss the sloth.
