This tour was great!! We got picked up and driven to different locations where the guide went out of the van to check if sloths were there. If they spotted a sloth we would get out of the van and observe them!! The guides have a big monocular and position it perfectly to see the sloth. They also take pictures and videos that look amazing and they airdrop them to people at the end. The pictures they take are incredible!!! The guides are VERY knowledgeable and can identify every sloth and tell you all about them. The guides are also insanely good at spotting them, as sloths are very hard to see sometimes. We saw 6 total sloths!!! And one was very active and was scratching, hanging upside down, eating. After the tour they take you to this beautiful restaurant in a nature area to have a snack. The snack is delicious!! It’s fresh fruit and a really good plantain chip with tomatoes and beans. This tour was great!! Highly recommend booking!!

They were experts in finding sloths-it’s not easy! They worked to make sure everyone could find them by using a laser pointer and giving out binoculars. They also located them in a telescope so all could see the sloths close up. Really fun.

If you’re looking for a great tour to see sloths, and all kinds of other wildlife, is an amazing tour. Guide was fantastic and had a passion for everything in Costa Rica. This was was amazing and worth the money spent. Our guides drove us to 3 different sites to look for animal in their natural habitat. Saw 7 sloths, toucans and other exotic birds, howler monkeys, and all kinds of fruit trees on a private farm. Perfect way to end our La Fortuna vacation.

We went on the early morning sloth tour, David was our guide who lead the tour. It was brilliant we managed to see two and three toed sloths, David knows so much about the sloths and was extremely knowledgeable on the area. He went above and beyond to make everyone’s experience enjoyable.

It was a hot day and I did the 6 am option to avoid the heat, and it was worth it! Plus breakfast was delightful. It was offered at the end of our 3 hour excursion so eat a little something before or bring a snack. This is not some sort of sloth zoo, you drive around different areas of town with known adorable residents so sightings are not guaranteed but jeez our tour delivered and even ended with some sloth drama! And it was really nice to see all the guides work together to inform each other of the best activity, including guides from other tour groups. Guide was also super knowledgeable about other topics, such as the toucans and bats we saw and some fruits being grown commercially.

This was an amazing tour! We didn’t know what to expect but within 15 minutes of the tour starting we had seen a sloth and her baby. Our guide Edson was so easy to talk to and brilliant with our teenage daughters who are both usually quiet and shy. He knew everything about sloths but he was also incredibly knowledgeable about all of the wildlife that we encountered in our tour. The tour itself was mostly travelling by air conditioned van to the local sloth hotspots with a few short walks. Edson provided us with binoculars and helped us take some incredible pictures on our camera phones through his telescope! He is a great ambassador for Costa Rica and the sloths. We had a fantastic time, this was our daughter’s favourite day of the whole trip so far. Muchas Gracias Edson, pura vida!

The tour was perfect from beginning to end. Our guide David saw things that no one else could see. The tour was amazing and breakfast was delicious! I would give this tour 10 stars if I could.

The sloth tour was purely magical. Our guide, David, was super knowledgeable and so kind. When my son was too small to see through the telescope, David allowed him to step on his boot or knee to get a better vantage point. We saw so many sloths, both two and three toed. We also saw howler monkeys, toucans, and even a spider monkey. David’s excitement for each animal was contagious, and our kids were left with core memories! We highly recommend this tour!

Most amazing sloth tour! We stopped at several locations within La fortuna. We saw 7 sloths, 3 mamas with babies, two-toed and three-toed slots, and one slot coming down to the ground which is very rare. We got to see how their monkeys at the end and enjoyed a really great Costa Rican snack! Very informative tour guide

Wonderful experience with David Barboza and our driver, both were excellent Sloth spotters. We saw several sloths within minutes of picking up our last of 6 travelers and many more after. They also pointed out toucans, monkeys and more. Binoculars were also provided and David had a telescope to zero in on the sloths. He also used a phone held to the telescope to give us all a great view, then snapped pictures and videos which we airdropped to each other. The tour ended with a great Costa Rican breakfast. Couldn't have asked for more. David went out of his way to accommodate all of us and was so very super friendly and knowledgeable and truly excited for us to have a fabulous time. Bravo!

We had a great time on the sloth tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew all the common spots where sloths hangout and we were able to see quite a few of them in their natural habitats.

Pretty amazing to to guarantee to see the sloths since they are wild. We saw 3 different ones. Even a mommy holding a baby. Cool frog and birds along the way too.

So far the best excursion we’ve had so more than four slots, baby slots, frogs, two cans, and the tour guides even took videos and cameras photos with their telescopic lens for us to take home I recommend this company fully satisfied, customer!

The tour was amazing with very experienced, knowledgeable and informative guide. Answered all our questions of which we had many Found lots of sloths as well as information on various birds we saw. Very worthwhile and would highly recommend
