Sloth Tour in La Fortuna
Overview

treetops near the Arenal Volcano. The sloth is one of our
most-endearing icons here in the rainforests of Costa Rica and this tour
has been developed for nature enthusiasts who would like to take an
easy going drive around the picturesque Arenal Volcano area as your
eagle-eyed, professional, bilingual guide finds the favorite hiding places
of the 2-toed, and 3-toed sloth. And as a bonus, you’ll also have the
chance to see monkeys, brightly-colored toucans, elusive iguanas, and
poison dart frogs.
What to bring: rain gear, camera, insect repellent, and binoculars.

On the search for these three beautiful animals, the knowledgeable guide will drive you around la Fortuna's beautiful spotting areas for more wildlife. Birds, iguanas, and monkeys are among the animals that you might encounter. In this tour, you can use the special spotting scope or take nice pictures of the sloths, toucans, and frogs with your camera.

Jaime was awesome. Jonathan was very accommodating and we enjoyed the ride, explanation of different animals we saw. Jaime and Jonathan were very knowledgeable about the area and helped us find snakes, toucans and of course many sloths. Thank you very much! Highly recommend it.

The reason why it was important to see these creatures is because I will probably never see them again in the wild.

The reason why it was important to see these creatures is because I will probably never see them again in the wild.We really enjoyed seeing the sloths - especially seeing the male and female moving in the tree together. Also saw lots of birds including toucans and a pretty blue lesson motmot. Our guides (Jamie and Jonathan) were very knowledgeable and we have learnt a lot!

We would highly recommend!A nice tour. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide (Jaime). Saw plenty of wildlife including sloths and toucans. Would have been nicer perhaps to have included more walking vs the mini-bus stop-start safari. But overall very good and lovely cafe breakfast to finish.
