This tour is a must. We highly recommend you book the tour with Mario! Mario was exceptional and by far the best tour guide we have had on our trip. He made the overall experience enjoyable and he was a wealth of knowledge. He pointed out details and gave us so much history that we felt a part of each building we toured. He was great about pointing out other things to do that were not part of our tour. Having a guide and tour is the best way to skip the lines and have access to areas where only tours are allowed.

This tour was a nice way to take an overwhelming landmark and make it manageable. There is no possible way to learn as much as we did if we were on our own. The tour offices were easy to find and our guide was great!

Great tour. Great tour guide. The tour is worth the time and effort. Going to the Vatican without one is a major mistake. And our guide Gabriel proved this. His knowledge, and delivery of it, is paramount. We all wore earpieces and Gabriel communicated clearly and effectively. He is obviously Italian decent, based on his accent, and that was nice to listen to ! Highly recommend this tour. And hopefully you will get Gabriel to guide you. Also get to skip the line. You will be glad you did ! Otherwise, without the tour, plan a full day at the Vatican with 4 hours of lines.

We did a last minute trip change and decided to come to Rome. I’m thankful this tour was available last minute because it included all the things we wanted to see in the Vatican City. Guide was knowledgeable about art, not necessarily about the religion part. Guide was very friendly and laid back, which was good for us, but not for the people from the cruise that wanted him to move a little faster, since their time was limited, and they missed a whole section at the end of the tour. The speed pass is absolutely needed if you are doing a last minute trip like us!!! So this tour was worth it!
