Lovely staff and great way to spend a few hours in the city centre.. scary zone is brilliant and full of surprises. Handy for LUAS stop too, right outside.

Ireland's wax museum has a variety of figures including movie/TV characters, political figures and sports icons, just to name a few. They were all very well made, and you could easily tell who they were. The faces were really detailed and lifelike. The museum is laid out well, with different rooms for different themes, and lots of opportunities for good photos.

Most of the figures were scary realistic, which made for a pleasantly weird experience. A few were really bad (looking at you, Harry Potter). It's definitely worth visiting! Only reason I'm not classifying as Excellent is due to the fact that most of the interactive components were not working - for some, no one bothered to even turn them on. Sure, they are not needed to enjoy the museum, but since they are there, would be nice if more than 1/20 worked.

Our visit to the Wax Museum in Dublin was a unique and enjoyable experience that offered a twist on traditional wax museums. What set this museum apart was its blend of entertainment, education, and a touch of science and technology. Inside, we encountered a diverse array of wax figurines, some of which were instantly recognizable celebrities, while others were intriguing discoveries. Although the realism of the figurines varied, they still provided great photo opportunities and added to the overall fun. The fact that some were animatronic added an exciting element to the visit, making the figures come to life in a way we hadn't expected. One of the highlights was braving the horror walk, a spine-tingling experience that had me holding onto my boyfriend's hand for dear life. It was genuinely scary but undeniably a lot of fun, and we couldn't help but laugh at our own reactions afterward. If you happen to have the Go City Pass, as we did, I would definitely recommend including the Wax Museum in your itinerary. It's a delightful blend of entertainment and a touch of the unexpected, making it a worthwhile stop for a unique Dublin experience.

Brought my mentee here for a visit. Worth visiting of course but a fair fry from Madam Tussauds. A little on the expensive side, if I’m honest. Good but not whoaaaaaa!

Absolute pile of Over priced and poor quality displays. The characters are extremely dated and don't look like the original. Whoever thought it was a good idea to have your head blown in by a Black and Tan for the ideal photo opportunity shouldn't really be working in tourism.

The Dublin Wax Museum is a lot more than a wax museum: it's a full on experience in which you can learn about science, history, folklore and modern times. Not only the figures are very well done, the setup in which they are display completely takes you to the environment where you get a much richer experience, as a lot more information is provided. It's, for sure, the work of an absolute genius who not only shares this offer with the world, he also acknowledges the life and work of many Irish people who made a difference in their area. Not only you will enjoy the visit, you will learn a lot. Fantastic! Thank you!

We were just out roaming and found the Wax Museum. It was about an hour to go through. Very glad we stopped.

It was a nice experience. It was smaller than we expected but we had fun. The tickets were a Little bit expensive for the things it had to offer. We went there to het Nice pictures. Unfortunately, many figures where unpossible to reach. A Little disapointing, but we had fun After al.

A wonderful hour spent in Dublin. The Dungeon - optional but included in the ticket price - is only for hard-boiled children, my daughter (7) loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, a small shop is at the beginning/end of the tour.

Wax museum was great but was very disappointed to see that booking with you cost us €20 more than it would have if we’d gone directly

The exhibits are not maintained, many things are not functional, dust everywhere, ... the whole experience is disappointing.

This was such a fun and interactive experience. The wax figures were very realistic and in a way creepy. I had so much fun looking at famous people I and characters I knew. The gift shop had lots of toys, trinkets, and souvenirs.

If you’ve got the spare money and you’re looking for a laugh then I’d recommend it but don’t go in expecting it to be on the same level of Madame Tussaud’s. Jedward are thrown in there with Starwars characters and George Best is scarily close to a Teletubbie. The Father Ted room was our highlight and we think they’ve got plans to add more characters from the show. The Irish history section is pretty good too if that’s your thing. Overall we we left feeling like it was a bit overpriced considering there are other attractions in Dublin within the same price bracket that are far better value for money.

Really enjoyed my visit here. There were wax figures of many Irish celebrities and public figures as well as other figures of interest. The Irish history segment was my favourite part and I thought this was a great way to learn about Irish history.

Our opening hours are Monday to Sunday, 10am to 7pm with last admission at 6pm. Priced at nearly €15 euro pp yes it is a little expensive but we really enjoyed our experience. Fun experience for children & adults. There was a lot of history an so many interesting different areas of the museum you could spend as long as you like in it. The wax figures were very interesting, you had the likes of Liam Neeson, Tina turner, Donald trump, some cartoon characters , famous authors George best ect. You can learn a lot of Irish history, Viking an also local inventors. The haunted chambers part was also very good. Few jumps were had in there, but so much fun. At the end of your tour h there is a gift shop available to pitches merchandise and also an area where you can have fun making your very own wax hand to take home prices are around €10 And children must be 5yrs or over to do this. Staff were lovely and very welcoming and we would definitely return with our children as they would love it!
