This was a fantastic tour! The pace and length of time was just right. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get the background information on these amazing places.
Taking this tour gave us a greater appreciation for the park and for the Sagrada Familia. The guide was very patient and very knowledgeable, giving us more details and explanations for each area, construction phases, what carvings represented. If we had gone by ourselves, we would have walked through the locations, admired it but wouldn't have known what it all meant. It is totally worth it!
Our guide Marta Folch was great! Very informative and fun. It was the perfect amount of time at each location
Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia was one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona. Iris our guide is local to Barcelona and provided so much great information to make the tour that much better!! We cannot stop thinking about the wonderful experience we had on this tour - do not miss this!!
Esther was the most fantastic tour guide ever! I believe she mentioned she studied tourism and it really showed from her detailed and abundant knowledge of history. She had an answer to every question asked! She was enthusiastic and engaging and time really flew by. When I come back next time, I would love to do the tour again with Esther. Thank you soooo much for making my first visit to Barcelona so memorable and fun
Marta was amazing! There is so much to see and SO MANY DETAILS. She pointed out the main points of the park and church, and in addition the nuances that create these masterpieces.
Park Güell and La Sargrada Família are both worth visiting. Ester was very knowledgeable and it was nice to have a small group.
This was a very interesting tour with a lot of information. We learned many new things about Gaudi, Guell and the Sagrada Familia. We can just recommend this tour!
Vincent was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about Gaudi and his works, including Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia.
What a well informed tour guide! I can't remember his name, but WOW was he spot on with the history and symbolism behind the architecture and design of Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia. Additionally, as well as telling us about himself, he was attentive to all 5 of us and seemed to be truly interested in who we were, our background, where we had been, what we had already seen, etc. A wealth of learning in a 4-hour tour!
Loved this tour. Our tour guild Gordi was excellent. He gave us a lot of good information and he knew a lot about Gaudi. I would recommend this tour. I could have spent the whole day in La Sagrada Familia.
We learn about Guadi and all about Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia our guide was knowable. Was a good time and easy way to explore the city without trouble.
The tour meeting place was easy to find, and the company was really flexible about moving me and my husband from one leader to another so that we could be with another couple, our friends who had booked separately. Olga was a fantastically thorough and informative guide, and helped us understand the detailed messages embedded in the art and architecture of both sites. We were so grateful to be able to do this on New Year's Day, when many other things were closed. A wonderful experience in Barcelona, and a great way to learn about two of the city's top sites.
This is a well organized, informative tour by Barcelona Local Experiences. I highly recommend that when you visit Barcelona you spend time at Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia, and other Gaudi buildings. A guided tour like this provides you with context that helps you appreciate even more what you are seeing and experiencing. Seeing the inside of La Sagrada Familia was one the most outstanding experiences of my life. Thanks to our guide, Vicen!!
We loved learning more about Gaudi and his incredible architecture legacy. The tour was fantastic, fast paced and informative. Our guide, David, had lots of information to share with us - very entertaining and engaging. This tour was one of the top highlights of our Barcelona visit.
Our tour was a perfect combination of ParK Guell and La Sagrada Familia, which by the way is magnificent. Our tour guide Vincent was very knowledgeable and explain all the details related to both places. A must go while in Barcelona
Excellent guide. Nice narration on context and background/history.
Weather was excellent even though cold.
Not too crowded.
Great tour and highly recommend this vs visiting without a guide. Especially when the guide is as amazing and knowledgeable as David.
Our tour guide Marta Folch was great. She answered all our questions and provided insights that we would never have heard. She allowed us some time at Park Guell to explore and then gave us suggestions that would help us enjoy the rest of our trip. She was one of the best tour guides we ever had. Her English was perfect which made it easier to understand.
This was very interesting, the tour of the park and the church were great. I would recommend this to anyone interested in seeing the sites of Barcelona
Our guide was Victor. He was friendly, prompt, very knowledgeable and spoke great English. The pace of the tour was perfect for a mixed aged group. We learned so so much and would definitely use Viator Tours again in the future.
Olga was a wonderful guide! She was professional and very knowledgeable. She spent extra time answering all of our many questions. I would recommend her and this company for any tour!
Excellent tour of the Park and La Sagrada. The guide was very knowledgeable. The tour is definitely recommended!
Jordi's passion for Gaudi shined through on this very educational and passionate tour. Instead of just seeing thin ngs, he told us the rich history of Gaudi and what led him to design Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. HIGHLY recommend this tour, especially with Jordi!!!
Skip the line : Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia Guided Tour was Excellent. Ester, our guide was very knowledgeable about the origins of the park and cathedral and presented the history in easy and understandable ways. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our guide help make our Gaudi morning very meaningful. La Sagrad Familia is not to be missed and our guide's commentary was useful and insightful. Commentary on the Park Guell also greatly enhanced our visit to the site. Only wish that there had been hotel pick-up.
Our guide was Jordi (George) and he was wonderful! He kept the tour engaging, was very joyful, and helpful. He was able to answer a lot of questions and give great detail about both the park and the church. We really enjoyed this tour and I highly recommend it!
Great way to see the two sites. La Sagrada is one of the most amazing buildings in the world. Excellent idea to end at La Sagrada. That way you can spend as much time there as you want. The museum there is incredible as well. Our tour guide Marta was excellent! Friendly and very knowledgeable.
My friend and I feel like we hit the jackpot with our tour guide, Marta. Not only was she extremely knowledgable about Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia (she has a masters in art history I think?), but you could also feel her passion for her Andalusian heritage. I can't imagine touring these attractions without all of her knowledge. She is a pro at her job and really made sure we all got everything we wanted out of the experience....including getting all of the "touristy" pics ;)
Georgie or guide fro our group of 11 challenged us many times during our “skip the line” tour as to whether or not Gaudi was mad or a genius. First through the Park Guell where we not only were immersed in the Park’s story, but also the engineering and architecture logic of all the components that make up the park. Through it all, my wife who has moderate mobility problems, he was also sensitive to her specific needs through the steps and pathways. He truly is a class act.
Then, a brief bus tour to Sagrada and again he challenged us, is this madness or genius. In the mayhem that was Sagrada that day we smoothly went through all parts for nearly an hour and a half. A wonderful experience, and if you are lucky to get Georgie, you will enjoy every moment.
