Visit to the Royal Palace (depending on client't time). Sintra as hunting residence of Portuguese kings and today world cultural heritage by the UNESCO.
Departure to Cabo da Roca, Europe's most western point. Short break. Then it goes on to Cascais and Estoril, seaside resorts of Lisbon coast.
Return to Lisbon. Panoramic tour through some picturesque quarters of Lisbon including the lower town "Baixa" to the Rossio and Praça do Comércio squares. Then we drive to Jeronimus monastery (World Heritage), with a visit to the church. Guests have the opportunity to visit the cloister.
Then the journey leads us to the Belém Tower, landmark of the city of Lisbon (world heritage) on the River Tagus. At the monument we see a copy of the airplane with wich the two Portuguese pilots, Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral, did the first South Atlantic flight, 1922. Photo Stop.
The Monument to the Discoveries, 60m high and built in 1960, is very close and there we see the more than 30 Oversized statues to honor the Portuguese navigators, and the world map and compass made of marble, gift of the Republic of South Africa in 1960.
The journey ends in the place in Lisbon where the clients wish.
