what an amazing adventure and for anyone worried about the cold, don't be as it's absolutely fine (this coming from someone that suffers with cold hands!). Had the pleasure of being escorted by Kevin who tool plenty of time to make sure everyone was fitted out correctly and took plenty of time during the excursion for photos and to give any information. well worth the money and the team were highly professional throughout.

It was a really amazing experience. The water was really clear so you can see a lot in the water. Thought the water would be too cold, but with the dry suit you felt not cold at all. Our guide Kevin told us more about the area and was a helpful, funny and careing guide.

Snorkeling in Silfra was amazing. The water was incredibly clear and the rock formations were so cool. Kevin was an amazing guide and made us feel safe the whole time even though we were a bit nervous. The dry suits also kept us super warm.

This was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Definitely worth the price. I recommend booking for a day that isn’t forecasted for wind as the water is more clear and calm for seeing right through to the bottom. Our tour guide, Anil, was very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. The water was gorgeous just like in the pictures. The dry suits kept everything but your face and hands warm. If you follow instructions, you’ll be comfortable the entire time. The photos came out great and the hot chocolate was delicious! Thank you, Anil!

It was amazing!! Kevin was the best guide ever. He was very helpful in putting on our gear and leading us through the water. Couldn’t recommend it more, it was the highlight of my day!

Our guide Kevin was really cool and we had a great experience. He took great photos and it was worth the money. He was also from Austria, so we as Germans could talk with him in german.

I would describe this experience as hands off, everything is taken care of for you which was so nice. I pride myself as being a strong independent woman, but I didn’t lift a finger. Cristo, Kevin, and Anil took such great care of us, they helped get us fitted up and ready to launch. You’re given a plush Bear (brand) onesie that keeps you so warm that you almost wanna buy one for yourself. Sizing is crucial, and they make sure everything fits like a glove. My friend even got sized up because the first suit she tried on was a bit too snug. They go to such great lengths to make it as seamless as possible, Cristo even offered to spit in our masks for us. There was a moment of drama as one of the other group members started struggling with his breathing but Cristo rescued him and brought him to shore safely. We may not have gotten the group flicks because of the incident, but at least we know our guides were strong and capable. My only complaint (which is not that significant in the grand scheme of things) was that the owner of the company who was driving the vans seemed a bit grumpy when greeting clients, however, the guides energy made up for that interaction. Be patient with the guides but be prepared to suffer a little before you enter the water as you will spend 5x as much time out of the water preparing vs the 25-40 minute swim (depending on current/wind) but it’s worth it. At the very end Cristo gave us an upgrade from hot chocolate to Swiss mochas to fuel us for our next adventures. Our trip to Iceland would not have been the same with the adventure Vikings crew. Something to note: we were bummed the cave tour was cancelled (we had paid for a combo tour of snorkeling and caving). We were then offered two alternative activities to pick from: a tomato soup farm lunch or horseback riding. When we responded with our choice of horseback riding we were then informed there would be an additional cost. We understood that the volcanic activity in Iceland prevented this part of the tour from going through, which is completely understandable for safety reasons. However, as recent college graduates we had a budget allocated towards this experience and having already paid for the original combo tour we had had an expectation of what the experience provided would be. Since there was a change, it’s usually proper customer service to cover the difference in costs if the company has to make changes to the tour they had agreed to provide.

We had such an amazing time snorkelling Silfra. Our guide Kevin was very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive to each person in the group and made sure everyone was safe, comfortable and had a great time. The views underwater were amazing and the water was so clear (and delicious!). We didn't feel the cold in the drysuit - except on our faces - so even in the middle of winter it was a comfortable experience. Would defiantly recommend to anyone visiting Thingvellir.

This is a unique experience. You only spend about 30-40 minutes in the water, but it is still worth the effort. It is gin clear water over a rocky rift. This company has nice gear. It is all newer dry suits and undergarments. They have a heated van for you to change in and helping hands at each step. Our guide, Kevin, was funny and attentive. Those who were timid he hand held throughout the trip. If you are interested in a unique experience, I highly recommend this.

Magic - the clarity and visibility in the water, you feel like you are just floating on air. The guide was also very knowledgeable and friendly - I felt safe the entire time.

This was an unforgettable adventure!! From start to finish, our driver and guide Gretar was amazing. He’s a treasure trove of information and just a rad dude! The team onsite get you all suited up in dry suits that work amazingly well! I didn’t get a drop of the 2C water in my suit. The views once you’re in the water are just stunning. Keep an eye out for fish! They’re rare in the fissure but we saw an arctic char on our swim. A steamy cup of hot cocoa waits for you on return. Just book the tour, you won’t regret it!
