Stop At: Saint Catherine, Saint Catherine, Red Sea and Sinai
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel to visit the monastery of St.Catherine ( about 2 hours and half ) which is situated on the foot of Mount Sinai , It said that Prophet Moses received ten commandments from God there .
This monastery represents the tolerance the three religion ( Judaism, Christianity and Islam) where inside the monastery you will find the burning bush which belongs to the site where prophet Moses saw the burning bush , also you will see a mosque but has never been used .
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Dahab, Dahab, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai
Then moving towards Dahab City for relaxing and having your lunch , then you have the chance to visit the shopping area .
Drive back to your hotel.

Foi uma excelente aventura. Partimos do Hotel no Shark Bay, era uma carrinha só com poucas pessoas. Aliás este destino não tem portugueses ou quase nulos, compreende-se só falam russo, árabe e inglês. Não dá para a maioria de portugueses. Assim éramos só nós 2 no Hotel e nos passeios que fizemos ...

Aliás este destino não tem portugueses ou quase nulos, compreende-se só falam russo, árabe e inglês. Não dá para a maioria de portugueses. Assim éramos só nós 2 no Hotel e nos passeios que fizemos nada de portugueses, o que para nós foi frustrante. Mas a viagem ao Monte Sinai, Mosteiro de Santa Catarina foi excelente. Sobretudo pelas memórias biblicas da sarça ardente, onde Moisés esteve, o poço onde bebeu água depois de ser expulso do Egito, todo o envolvente que nos faz recuar aos tempos de Moisés. O percurso cerca de 220 km sem uma única árvores, nem ervas, só rochas e deserto...A nossa carrinha só tinha 2 portugueses, que éramos nós, uma russa, 2 canadianos e 5 egipcios, 4 falam inglês (2 de Alexandria, 2 de Londres e 1 de Cairo), éram todos muito simpáticos. O guia falava russo, inglês e árabe!!!Foi um belo guia. A subida custa mas há alternativa ir de taxi que é barato só são 15 m a pé. A vista é espectacular. O mosteiro linda, é ortodoxa, há uma mesquita ao lado fechada e o edifício onde vivem os dezenas de monges ortodoxos que cuidam do mosteiro. Vale a pena pela história de quem é apaixonado desta área. Anda-se em coluna (comboio) como dizem, com muitas postes de controlo, e militares armados, pois a zona é dizem de conflito armado.Mas não tivemos problemas, pois os militares egipcios controlo tudo muito bem. O povo é extremamente simpático, não conhecem Portugal mas Cristiano Ronaldo é um ídolo. O almoço foi um Dahab. É relativamente perto. Não servem bebidas alcoólicas. No nosso hotel em regime de TI podiamos beber a vontade, mesmo estando no meio de muçulmanos que era a mioria no hotel. A praia aqui é só pedras seixas redondas! Nada de areia, boa para mergulhar e snorkling, muitos peixes de diversas cores a nossa volta um paraíso para mergulhadores.
