We were in SF for a few days and were looking for something other than the typical tourist stuff. This tour was perfect. Stuart was a great tour guide and provided a unique perspective on SF that only a native could provide. We learned a lot about the city that we would have never learned on our own including the seedy side of the city's history. The food was great--don't eat before the tour. All in all. one of the best city tours we have taken. Don't miss it!We enjoyed our walking tour with Stewart. He was a historian- a comedian and a true pleasure to spend the day with. He took us to very interesting site - showed us photos of his topics (before and after photos). I highly recommend his tour. Joe and Lou Thornhill Austin, Tx

Besides being very personable, Stuart is a true native and knows the interesting history and great eats. All the merchants welcomed him and is with open arms. We highly recommend the tour!

Whether you are passing through the city or taking an extended stay in the bay, SF Native Original Tour is a must do! The guide, Stuart, comes from a line of San Franciscan entrepreneurs and uses his family history, passion for the city and activism on various local boards to create the best tour experience in San Francisco. Don't let his cool/laid-back California appearance fool you - he has extraordinary enthusiasm and energy, and has put a great deal of work into providing a one-of-a-kind, educational & entertaining tour experience. Through his extensive network and research, you will: - see more to the city than you would on your on with opportunities to sneak into places unavailable or unknown to the general public. - experience a vast variety of the best tastes in the area for no additional cost to you - and develop a whole new understanding of your surroundings with many references to historical photos and interesting facts about the city. So we highly suggest: 1.) Come hungry! Stuarts exclusive deals with the many restaurant/shop owners gives you access to more food than you may eat in a day in these 4.5 hours and 2.) Start your SF adventures with this tour! You'll appreciate the city more and you may want to revisit some of the areas you pass by or have Stuart provide personalized recommendations for the rest of your time in San Francisco. If you are like us (a couple from Wisconsin) or the family we toured with (a family from Australia with school aged children), you'll note this as one of the best experiences you had in SF but you'll have wished you'd done it sooner!
