Our semi-private kite course is the best way to learn kitesurfing safely and in accordance with the highest safety standards.
We teach according to all local and current regulations.
A kite is shared for 3 hours, so you have time to catch your breath and experience a great, fun activity.
In our many years of experience, this is how students learn best and most efficiently.
The course takes place with two people, which means that if only one person books here, a second person must be found by us. If this is not possible, the booking will be cancelled.

Itinerary
You take part in a semi private kite course. The course lasts 3 hours and depending on your previous knowledge you will learn the necessary things to get to your next level.
Two people share a kite, everything else is dangerous and illegal in Tarifa, be careful with other offers.

I am travelling along the coast of Spain in a camper van with a friend. Stopping at the best spots for water activities. One of our "must do" was a visit to Tarifa the so called Kite Surf Paradise. We were very excited. And so we reached Tarifa 5 days ago. Parked our little camper van and started checking out kite surf schools in town. We knew that February is low season here and so we did not have high expectations thinking all schools being in recovery mode from the past season. Anyhow we contacted a few schools one of them being "Free your mind experience". Just after a few minutes sending our request through facebook we received an answer. The other schools indeed didnt reply until the next days. But luckily we were booked in for a class at 1pm with Free your mind. The wind was unstable but we were to meet at a close by beach to check again with them. And so meeting at the spot we met Alfonso our Kite Surf Instructor, who told us the wind was strong enough and we were ready to go. We started off with a little bit of kite handling on land. I really appreciated Alfonsos charismatic mix of german and english intructions. Made us laugh so much. On top I felt safe at all times. After the land lesson, we got into the water to practice some body dragging. We had a blast. After 1.5 hours of so much fun in the water we were totally exhausted and enjoyed the sun (18 degrees in February..yayy) while watching other students learning to kite surf. Realizing we werent that bad :-) Once Alfonso finished his class we went up to him to ask for any recommendations for food and he told us a bunch of restaurants and bars to chose from. We followed his favourite and were super happy. The food was amazing and the beers too :-) We were so pumped we called the school and asked whether we could have some more classes in the following days and so we arranged a full 5 days schedule. In addition they provided us with awesome tips for activities and to sightseeing spots during our stay in Tarifa. It was just so easy and we had lots of fun with a very professional and helpful Kite School. In the end we were able to stand on the board, in the water, with the kite up...wow. We would always come back and highly recommend Free your mind Experience Kite surf school who are luckily open ALL YEAR ROUND. Thank you for teaching us.jjbruemmel

Habe ein einwöchiges Kitesurfing Camp jeweils im Mai und im Oktober besucht. Von der Unterbringung, Betreuung und natürlich den Bedingungen her hat einfach alles gestimmt. Kurse werden auf Deutsch, Englisch oder Spanisch angeboten. Wer in Tarifa und besonders bei free your mind Kitesurfen lernt, ...

Wenn man in Tarifa Kiten lernen möchte, dann ist man hier genau richtig. Wir haben zu zweit als blutige Anfänger gestartet, haben uns aber unterschiedlich schnell weiterentwickelt, worauf Tanja super eingangen ist. Sie hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns immer sicher fühlten und sich jeder in seinem ...

Wir haben zu zweit als blutige Anfänger gestartet, haben uns aber unterschiedlich schnell weiterentwickelt, worauf Tanja super eingangen ist. Sie hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns immer sicher fühlten und sich jeder in seinem eigenen Tempo steigern konnte. Die Stimmung in der Kiteschule ist super familär, wir gingen nach der Kitestunde noch gemeinsam was trinken oder essen und verbrachte viele lustige Stunden mit dem Team und den anderen Kiteschülern. Super Kite Kurs. Sehr kompetente Lehrer. Haben viele Tips bekommen was man in tarifa noch schönes unternehmen kann. Sehr zu empfehlen.
