Everyone was very helpful making sure we have all the Information and equipment we needed. The preprogrammed Garmin made it easy to get to all the sites we wanted to see. We felt ready to tackle our adventure on 2 wheels. We had a blast, highly recommend Ecuador Freedom Bike Rentals, very professional. I would definitely do it again.Excelente servicio! In theory this sounds like a fun way to see the different sights of Quito. However, once we arrived in Quito we realized several things: 1. The traffic in parts of Quito can be crazy and riding around on a scooter would be more dangerous than we thought 2. The various sights in Quito are pretty widely spread out, and riding from one place to another on a scooter isn’t really a practical way to get around 3. There are some sketchy neighborhoods we would have to ride through to get to some places…..not ideal when traveling on a scooter I reached out to the provider requesting that we be able to cancel and get a refund and didn’t even get a courtesy of a response. As this is a no-refund tour, I’d highly recommend you get to Quito and evaluate if this makes sense for you before booking.Unfortunately after arriving in Quito we were warned of the traffic and distance of the attractions. Unfortunately after arriving in Quito we were warned of the traffic and distance of the attractions. We had to cancel. I think customers should be advised and warned of the dangers of taking a scooter ride around Quito. We were there for 3 days and did not see one tourist on these scooters. We were not refunded the money. Just beware of the dangers before purchasing
