I have been diving with Vallarta Undersea for a while now. There has never been a time where I have had a bad experience. From the staff at the dive shop to the dive masters and captains , the service is always good. I dove “the tunnel” and “the mountain” at Marietas Island. Eric was the dive instructor and he was excellent. We navigated some great aqua-scape; going through tunnels and enjoying the wowing marine life. From eels , to jack fish , octopus, and schools of colorful fish, we took it all in. Thanks Eric and the rest of the V. Undersea for always making my dive adventures superb.
Ride out to islands wds well worth it. Fascinating bird santcuary. Fair to good visibility. Our DM was excellent, kind and offered extra wet suit. Dolphins accompanied boa on ride back.
Great scuba diving experience I arranged everything online and they were ready for me, very nice shop. Everyone was very professional and friendly. I dove the Marietta’s island, shout out to the crew, Osvaldo, Luis and Nano they were alsome. Looking forward to returning and diving with them again. E7DiverDan
A great dive shop with amazing people, my dive master Oswaldo take a good care of me. Javi the captain of the boat great guy. I will be back, see you😊😊😊
Little hard to find, they have their other company sign on the building, eco Explorer, and they are next to another dive shop. Had a good dive and would like to have done another but due to time and their schedule I could not. I was on a boat with some people who were only snorkeling. I was the only diver. It had been a couple of years since my last dive and the Dive Master, Erik, did a great job refreshing me and making sure I was ok in the water before we did our 2 dives. I would highly recommend them. Small Dive shops are always better and this one was top notch. So glad I didn’t go with the big name in town. I met some divers who did and they had a terrible dive.
Marvelous tour. Luis did a fantastic job with our group. He was well versed on the safety of snorkeling in and out of the Hidden Beach. Very informative about wildlife.
They FAILED on the most essential DIVER SECURITY, we didn’t have emergency oxygen onboard, and the “Divemaster” (which he didn’t want to show his proof of certification), got mad when we asked for the Oxygen, and even so they got us the equipment (we lost about 1 hour from our scheduled departure time) we wanted to verify if the oxygen tank was full and working (which had a poor maintenance with dirty hoses and rusty tank. It went worse since) he got off the boat because we wanted to verify the correct function of the oxygen. The BCD and first stages are old, with ZERO MAINTAINENCE, one of our manometers got stuck at 1,500 psi and one of our divers had to shake it (the real reading was 700psi) Very bad place to dive not to mention again POOR SECURITY.
We booked five days with Vallarta Undersea, and had a absolute BLAST each day. Carlos (aka, Charlie) was an amazing and attentive divemaster. Emilio & Alex were both superb and safe boat captains. The office set us up with nitrox each day, and everyone was VERY helpful and friendly. I dive regularly in California, and my wife and I have been diving all over the world. Puerto Vallarta did NOT disappoint. We were approached by a spotted eagle ray within the first five minutes of the first dive, and had equally amazing encounters on each subsequent dive: sea turtles, manta rays, octopus, eels (EVERYWHERE), scorpion fish, parrot fish, damsels, etc., etc. Thank you SO MUCH, Vallarta Undersea for an AMAZING TIME!
