We booked the private tour with Demetris picking us up from the airport and starting the tour immediately upon arrival on the island. He did a wonderful job of showing us all of the sites, starting in Oia and ending in Akrotiri. We had plenty of time to walk around several of villages and our trip to the monastery and church at the island's highest point was the highlight of the tour.Had a fantastic tour of Santorini with a very friendly and knowledgeable driver named Dimitris. He was so helpful and also took some great photos for us. If you want to see the island and dont want the hustle and bustle of a coach party I would certainly recommend Skytravel and Dimitris

Panos our driver managed our tour from Fira to Oia and back. We were a family of 10 in a luxurious Mercedes minivan. Panos took us in amazin places and gave us a lot of information about the local history and culture. He was a great guide, I will never forget his kindness. Our cruise ship was supposed to be in Santorini for 12 hours, but high winds cut that short and we had less than 7. So I'm glad we hired Santorini Skyline Tours for a private tour of the island. The two main sites we wanted to see was Oia and Akrotiri, which are on opposite ends for the island. I supposed I could have figured out the bus system, but with a limited amount of time, the private tour was the right choice. Vicky was our tour guide and driver and she did a wonderful job taking us around the island to Oia, and the then to Akrotiri and then to Red Beach then to a black sand beach for a seafood lunch. So the private tour showed us parts of Santorini we would not have seen if we did it ourselves. Well worth the cost of a private tour!
