So a great way to see the coast and get out of Santiago. Vina del Mar was more what I was expecting Chile to be like as a first time visitor. The highlights were seeing a real Moai and having almost 2 hours on the beach via skipping a lunch. The price was right and the hostess was very knowledgeable. It was the second best thing we did on our vacation.

We booked through Viator, a private tour with guide Franco and driver Pablo. The whole day was great from start to finish. Franco met us promptly and Pablo’s car was clean and comfortable. Franco was engaging throughout. We stopped for breakfast and a toilet stop and fed some llamas. On to Valapariso, some history about the city and a really enjoyable walking tour with lots of interesting facts that perhaps other guides won’t tell you. Plenty of murals and lots to see and learn. Lunch was a short drive on in attractive Vina Del Mar, looking out on to the Pacific Ocean. Before heading back to Santiago we enjoyed a spectacular viewpoint of both Valapariso and Vina Del Mar. Would highly recommend the tour and especially Franco and Pablo.

Great day with Our guide Jose Paquin and driver Pablo Fuentes. Private tour for my husband and I. We visited Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. Beautiful vistas and very knowledgeable tour guide and very good driver. Had a scenic and wonderful lunch overlooking the ocean in Vina Del Mar at Siete Mares. Would highly recommend these two gentlemen.

Seeing the cities was fun and pretty, but our tour guide didn’t give us much information about the areas we toured. Would have liked more history of the cities and explanations of what we were seeing instead of just a “look and see” tour

Nice trip to two places that I didn't know much about but were well informed by Franco (Arial) along with the driver Juan. Franco was very knowledgeable about all areas of the trip which resulted in an interesting and enjoyable day. Comfortable ride and nice lunch location made for a worthwhile venture.

Your was excellent. Somehow the van was dirty and old. Also our driver Antonio drove very rash and fast, to the point of scary. He was very nice and sweet but he should drive safe. They need to clean their vans also. Otherwise loved the tour. His van needed maintenance as was showing signs of engine maintenance, scaring passengers that it may stop any minute.

Guide was friendly and knowledgable with excellent English. I was unhappy with the structure of the tour - the driver wasted a lot of time with long stops. Given that it was mostly a walking tour and the driver didn't have much to do and the drive was just 90 minutes each way this didn't make sense. Also the guide was stubborn and wouldn't accommodate our request to go to the Neruda house and spend less time walking around or even drive by Neruda's house which I asked to do multiple times.

The guide was amazing. Super interesting tour from someone that lived there. Had great insight to the culture and how people live there day to day

We had Carol as our guide and she was absolutely splendid!! She was super knowledgeable and passionate about the history and stories of the Town and we loved walking up and down the colourful city of Valparaiso. Not to mention that Carol did the whole tour in English without issues. Cannot recommend her enough!

Wonderful places and experience. Our tour guide Daniel is very knowledgeable and we enjoyed his explanation and guidance through the walking tour and restaurants. The hills, buildings and graffiti, give Valparaiso a unique combination of beauty. It’s like a mix of Cincue Terre, San Francisco and Wynwood murals all together. Just amazing!

Our tour with Willy exceeded our expectations. This full day tour included a stop at a llama farm, Casablanca Valley viewpoint, tour of the Pablo Nerudo house, colorful Valparaiso, a ride on the funicular and lunch at the picturesque Vina Del Mar. Willy was very friendly and entertaining with a vast knowledge of the areas we visited. He answered our endless questions regarding historical and cultural facts of Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. Would highly recommed this tour and especially Willy when in Santiago.

This experience was very informative. Our guide, “Romi” was very helpful and knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting and her English was very clear. Our driver was excellent in all of the traffic. I would Recommend this trip to others. The only confusion was on the way back from Valpro it was stated that we would stop at a winery. This did not happen and no explanation for this change was provide to us for why we didn’t stop. Lunch facing the Pacific Ocean was great.

I recommend the tour, but our tour guide, during this Corona virus crisis, had a non-stop cough and did little to suppress the spread of his germs. He even talked in an aggressively energetic manner to the point where you could see spittle coming out of his mouth. Nice guy, so I’m not going to give his name. Valparaiso is a gorgeous town, full of murals and hilltop views of the ocean. Lunch was at a beautiful restaurant on the water. Though lunch was not included, the overall tour cost was low.

We booked a tour to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar on recommendation from friends and were not disappointed. Our tour guide Rowena was fluent in English and took the tour at a casual pace, suiting our walking abilities. We would do the Valparaiso tour again without hesitation, walking downhill through laneways and streets with beautiful old buildings mostly covered in beautiful graphics. The whole experience was without fault, extremely comfortable and well worth doing

This tour was booked for a small group through EcoUruguay & Top Private Tours and subcontracted to Ruta Chile. It included a one-way transfer from the cruise port in San Antonio. The pick-up went well and the guide provided a lot of information on the drive to Valparaiso. We drove around the city a bit then stopped for an included tour of Pablo Neruda's house, La Sebastiana. Then we set out on an almost 90 minute walking tour. It was a very hot and humid day and upper Valparaiso has extremely steep hills that are challenging going up and down. There had been no mention of the walking conditions when the tour was booked. It quickly became apparent that a number of elderly people in the group were having a great deal of trouble dealing with the heat and exertion. However, the guide, Michael, refused to alter the agenda and became almost belligerent when part of the group couldn't keep up. I was truly concerned and angry. Guides need to be trained to assess the group and have alternate plans for people who cannot physically keep up. Once the whole group managed to make it back to the bus, we drove to Vina Del Mar for lunch (not included) at a good beach restaurant (La Playa) and were then dropped off at the Santiago Airport.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour from Santiago to Valparaíso and Vina Del Mar. Lucky to have Willy from Chile as our guide. Informative and funny. Great driver too. Enjoyable walk through the streets and along the sea front. Didn't eat in the restaurant as preferred to walk by the sea. Great value
