Overview
Home cooked meals are always delicious and filled with warmth and authenticity. In the typical Italian homes, there is always plenty of food to accommodate even unexpected guests and spend enjoyable moments together. On an extended trip to the small, family-run shops and stalls of the Sanremo fruit and vegetable Market you’ll source the best local ingredients in season. In addition to cooking pasta and the sauces to go with it, the engaging host will show you how to make a tasty Italian dessert, a typical Ligurian antipasto, and a main course. The experience will end with an amazing family style meal! The recipes can easily be recreated at home.

What to expect
You'll enjoy an unforgettable home cooking class. As we use only local ingredients to cook, we'll agree the menu in advance (3 dishes), according to your wishes and to the season. We use only fresh fruit and vegetables we buy at the local farmer market.
The cooking class is hands-on, our expert will show you the right ingredients and explain you the different phases of the preparation. We cook together and we'll give you the exact recipe of the dishes, so that you'll be able to cook them when you go back home.
At the end of the cooking class we enjoy a good Italian aperitif and then a good lunch/dinner.
The meal include local wine, and a good Italian coffee. A minimun of 2 people is required.

Roberta taught us to make the best pasta we’ve had in Italy or elsewhere (and we have sampled hundreds of various pasta dishes around the world). She is incredibly knowledgeable about Liguria and Italian history and culture, which helps understand the beauty of Ligurian cuisine even better. Roberta is a very accommodating and generous host! We loved our experience of preparing a primi, secondi and dessert with her! Such an amazing experience!
