Booked this trip through trip adviser and was eagerly awaiting a terrific day of site seeing.....unfortunately this was marred with more than a few issues. The trip promised a pick up from your accommodation but not if your staying in a hotel not on their list! We had to get up extra early to make a km walk to a meeting point at 7.30am so we were tired before we started out, the mini bus came at 7.20 and we barely made it. The journey to the harbour was terrifying to say the least with the driver taking very unnecessary risks to get us there. Once we boarded the boat the breakfast we were promised was completely underwhelming with a small banana and a tiny croissant being the only options, we were left very hungry after our morning hike! The boat journey was arduous to the first island, the staff were friendly but spoke so fast I could barely understand and gave up listening after a while as I could not understand or retain all the information. There was free drinks all day on the boat which was only saving grace for this long journey however that was number 1 of the 2 positives for this trip. We were rushed off boat to climb many steps for first view point and my young children and I had no energy for this in the short amount of time we were given. We were rushed back on boat to eat lunch which actually was the 2nd positive, it was tasty and plentiful and we actually couldn’t manage to eat it all. While we were eating we travelled to the next and last stop (not the abundant site seeing we were promised) the kayakers amongst us then had to kayak to shore while the rest of us were yet again rushed ashore for 3 options, more steps to view point 🙄 going into a cave or snorkelling there was not enough time for all 3 so while my daughter and I were letting our lunch go down my son decided to attempt the steps he could barley make it up two very steep sets before giving up and returning to us on the beach. The tour guide then asked if we were ok and asked what we were doing, when we said we were going into cave he looked at watch and and made a ‘you haven’t got time for that face’ so we decided to snorkel to cool down a bit. The equipment was supplied however, the visibility was so poor and the coral we did see was so dead that we only saw about two tiny fish and poisonous sea urchins. No sooner we got in water it was time to get out and rushed back on boat for long journey home. I really didn’t feel that the delights or sights that were promised could be full filled in the amount of time given and we were never told when we booked, it was an either or option! When we arrived back to the harbour my children and I were absolutely exhausted and my mind returned to the journey we had in the morning to catch the bus and even though we made it down in the morning our accommodation was at the top of an extremely steep set of hills and I was dreading making that hike back so I begged the driver to take me and my children back to where we were staying but he refused. When we were dropped off at the bottom of the hill I expressed my severe dissatisfaction at not being dropped off nearer and started the long walk up hill which was littered with aggressive dogs that barked and chased my children and I up the hills. My children were terrified and so totally exhausted that they nearly passed out and I had to carry my youngest most of the way back which very nearly crippled me as I’m an asthmatic. I can truly say I’m absolutely disgusted with our treatment and the overall disappointment of this trip. I would not recommend to anyone with young children or if your accommodation is not on the main strip as you are rushed around and not even taken home. It was all in all an exhausting disappointing trip and our legs hurt so much the next day we just had to stay in. I wrote an email of complaint and got a reply of ‘we’ll look into it’ but won’t hold my breath I would like a refund but that’s never going to happen. My advice would be choose another trip or just get a ferry boat to other islands for a much cheaper and less expectations trip.We did this tour and as always the tour guides were friendly. Have to say just found the trip very long and there was no shade so we all got very sunburnt. The views were good but prefered our big boat trip in Phuket. More entertaining and fun.

This was a very dissapointing trip, The advertising was Kayaking, snorkling and swimming in the lagoon which was the reason we chose this trip. The boat ride took over 2 hours in each direction. The kyaking was less than 10 minutes, we were rushed on to a small beach and alowwed only 20 minutes to reach the vantage point and return to the boat, where lunch was served which was not at all appetising then ferried over to the lagoon where we could snorkel in water where there was absolutely nothing to see and allowed less than an hour to "enjoy the lagoon and then rushed back to the boat for the return trip. It did not meet our expectations. The main attractions advertised were just a minute part of the day and being rushed everywhere was not our idea of a fun day. would not recomend this tripAn entertaining crew made the 1:40 trip out to the park feel shorter. Easy paced, lovely Thai food, fun time for the family.

This was a well organised and wonderful experience. We were collected from our hotel on time (this was included in the price of the booking). We arrived at the ferry port and boarded the boat. A modest breakfast was provided (banana and a small croissant - we planned ahead and made sure to eat breakfast at the hotel before departing). They had water, soft drinks and tea & coffee on the boat in plentiful supply for the whole day. We visited at the end of the season so the crossing was a little choppy, but manageable. On the crossing the guide on the boat explain how the day would be managed very clearly, he also explained were smoking areas were and toilets on the boat. At the park we had opted for sea kayaking so joined a group of other travels on a short kayak around the shore. This could have been a bit longer, but was fun and easy going. Lots of photo opportunities (they supply a waterproof bag for this part of the trip). We joined the rest of our group on a beach where we could climb up to a high view point (steps not for the faint of hearted) and could also swim in the sea. After this we long tailed back to our boat and had lunch. This was a delicious masaman curry, with vegetables, spring roll and fruit. Yummy and plentiful again. We then went on to a second beach. At this point snorkelling was offered, but the sea was murky so we didn't have much joy. I climbed up to the cave (again not for the faint of hearted and certainly not for small children. I found a french family with two boys under 10 half way up and they turned around in the end). All in all a great day, incredible value (can't understand the complaints made before) and really friendly helpful guides. Just book it and enjoy :-)We wanted to do a boat tour and after checking other reviews, decided that this was the one for us. We wanted to do a boat tour and after checking other reviews, decided that this was the one for us. Our guide, Christina and all the crew were extremely friendly and helpful, with clear explanations of each part of the tour. I would highly recommend the kayaking. This was my first time and it was beautiful. It was leisurely and we saw some beautiful sights along the way. I didn't go to the Emerald Lake as the stairs were very steep going up and down to it, but my husband did and it looked beautiful and he said well worth the climb. When we returned to the boat, lunch was served and the food was fantastic. definitely better than anything we had had on similar boat tours in other countries. It definitely was one of our highlights of our holiday. .
