We did this tour with our 10 year old twins and it was great! We live just a few towns away from Salem, but this was our first time bringing our boys. Being local, I have experienced other walking tours of Salem pre-kids which were great, but would have been way too long and tedious for the kids. Alicia was such a great guide, and being a 6th grade teacher she knows exactly how to talk to kids and keep their attention while also being very informative and interesting to adults. I also appreciated that while the witch trials are certainly discussed and weaved through the tour, it’s not just a witch tour. Salem is a great city with many other interesting stories and characters, and I really appreciated that those were also included. If you are bringing kids to Salem, Alicia is absolutely the best guide for them.Alicia was a delight- very funny, super engaging with the children on the tour. We had a great time and highly recommend the tour! Informative, fun, and the perfect length for children.

This tour was fun for our whole family (parents and two kids, ages 6 and 10). The tour guide is a sixth-grade teacher and she really knows how to talk to kids to interest and involve them. But the information was fun and interesting for adults too. The tour lasts about an hour and is mostly flat and an easy walk. It’s called “slightly spooky” but was not scary at all for my very jumpy 6-year-old. I’d recommend this tour for families with kids kindergarten through high school.I had a blast with my 8 year old. It was a great review of the last 400 years, not just the Salem witch trials. Alicia was very nice and a great guide - energetic and informative.

We did the tour with 4 kids 11, 9, 6, 5. The tour was mostly historical with just a few very lite ghost stories thrown in. Which was perfect, we wanted the kids to get a feel for Salem not have it be the source of nightmares for months after vacation. The walking was fairly easy walking and our two youngers one's did it with no problem. Our tour guide (a guy that was a high school teacher for the life of me I can't remember his name) was great at engaging all the kids while keeping it informative for the adults. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone bringing kids to Salem. We did the walking history tour with a 14, 12 and 7 year old boys, and a 20 month old toddler. Alicia was great, and kept everyone engaged for the entire tour (adults included). If we make our way back to Salem we would definitely consider taking the Slightly Spooky Tour.
