200 years ago, Paris had nearly 150 covered passages ! Frozen in time since the 1800s, these glass-roofed & paved arcades were originally created for the nobles to enjoy a stroll and a little shopping, away from the sun and rain.

Discover the many anecdotes behind the "Blind's Café" and origins of funny french experession like "midi pétante" - noon sharp. And of course this courtyard was the gastronomic Mecca of Paris in the 19th century. Take some time to stroll in the sumptuous gardens.

There are still some emblematic Parisian addresses to be found in the passage couverts such as the oldest chocolate factory in Paris founded in 1761!

It was me and my wife. We could have paid and downloaded only for one, and hear it together, but we were tld it would have to be two payments. When walking, of course we only used one. It was a waste of money.

Nous avons cherché le départ de la visite que nous n avons jamais trouvé ! Passage verdeau : endroit où nous étions et avons fait le tour du parc du Palais Royal aussi ! Au bout d une heure, nous avons abandonné ! Visite payée à l avance et non faite

Auf der Buchungsbestätigung war angegeben, dass man Tickets einlösen muss. Wir sind fast eine Stunde vor Irt im Kreis geschickt worden. Dann war Ticket nicht notwendig, um Audiotour zu aktivieren. Auch dies war mühsam. Da einer für mehrere gebucht hat, musste jeder die sich einen Account anlegen...

Auch dies war mühsam. Da einer für mehrere gebucht hat, musste jeder die sich einen Account anlegen um den link versenden zu können. Nachdem die Aktivierung bestätigt war, hatten einige dennoch keinen Zugriff auf die Audiotour. Somit bezahlt und nichts gehört. Das Geld kann man sich sparen !Danielle_L
