You will sit in the bus and stay at sugar loaf for half a day followed by 2 hour lunch which you do not need. It is better to cover on your own if you like to see the museums, botanical garden and other important things in Rio.

It gets you to see the major attractions with one arrangement. For the convenience I think it's worth it especially if you have limited time. There was some confusion about transportation after the afternoon trip and evening show and dinner. It ends up that I had to be sent back to the hotel and then picked up again to go to the show without dinner. Not completely smooth. Guides are very responsible in terms of arranging logistics and helping me solve some problems with confusion.
I found that Viator guides do not usually give enough narrations to give us more background knowledge. I had to read myself to know more.

Christ the Redeemer is an all time highlight of any trip. Sugar Loaf is also great fun and gives you good views over the city.

We were given great advice on arrival, to separate the Plataforma Show to the next day, and this was arranged accordingly by Grayline. The tour to Sugar Loaf and Corcovado were terrific. The show next day was also good.

Remarkable views of Rio. Great experience to be at the Cristo Redentor statue. Sugar Loaf was amazing. The lunch and dinner was at the same place. The Samba show was very good.

The day tour was as expected....the lunch was at a local buffet.

The evening samba show and the restaurant were both exceptional!

It was a long day, but more wonderful than I expected.

This tour consists of three parts with three different guides. It begins with a ride through the city and we will take us to the Sugar Loaf mountain. The cable cars up is exciting and thrilling. The view at the top is fantastic. Our guide pointed out various places in the city. After the tour we had lunch in a restaurant. we thought it was a tourist trap, but the food was very good and you could eat as much as anything. Then downloaded a new guide us and took us to Corovado. it was very busy and crowded when we would ride the train to the top. But it was worth it, the Christ statue and the view is magical. After we came down, we changed our guide and it was time for dinner before the samba show. unfortunately, it's dinner at the same place as the lunch. Samba show is good, but unfortunately, the room are very bad and the staff was quite unpleasant. staff wanted to photograph us all the time and then sell pretty bad photos. The dancers and musicians were very talented and there were many fabulous clothes.

Excellent and well worth the cost. The Samba show was terrific, way beyond my expectations. Our tour guides Fatima and Camille were great. The only setback was having lunch and dinner at the same Brazilian steakhouse...another place would be ideal. Other than that, enjoyed every minute of it.

Sugar Loaf mountain in the morning. Not so impressed with the guide JB - more full of himself than the sites of Rio. The content of the tour however was very good and we enjoyed the trip up Sugar Loaf and the sites along the way.
The lunch between tours was excellent.
The afternoon guide was great and the trip up Corcovado was well organised and efficent. Magnificent views.
Plataforma Samba SHow was very good. An enjoyable evening.
Our only concern was that the same restaurant although excellent was used for both lunch and dinner. An overload of meat!! A different venue for the meals would have been an improvement.
Overall though a very enjoyable if long day.

Great trip with fantastic views, the Samba show was really entertaining and the food was great. Picking up all the people is the worst part of the trip as it takes so long. The guide forgot my hotel and drove past it at midnight so delayed in getting back to hotel.

It was well organized and everything that I expected and even more! I was very impressed with the guides, they were knowledgeable, courteous, and proficient in several languages. I will recommend this to anyone who is planning to visit Rio and wants to do everything in one-day.

This was an excellent tour and worth the price for the beautiful panoramic views as the vistas were simply amazing. However, the tour was poorly executed. There was confusion as to WHERE we were to be picked up even though we had confirmed both through Viator and through the local tour company TWICE! Therefore, we were picked up late almost 30 minutes. Secondly, each segment of the tour had different tour guides which was frustrating. Also, this was booked as a full day tour, but we got combined with others who were only on one or two sections of the tour and time was wasted picking up and dropping off tourists. To top it off, we had both LUNCH and DINNER at the SAME RESTAURANT. The guide for the restaurant made us wait over an hour after lunch was finished before the bus came to pick us back up. This should never have happened on a very expensive full day tour. A lot of time is wasted by having to travel around the city to pick up the tourists which took about an hour at pick up and an hour at drop off. It's a waste of time. The Plataforma Samba Show was interesting but it was a bit tatty. The costumes were pretty but needed mending, some of the show girls had tears in their stockings, and what was worse was that the showgirls came out into the audience trying to sell their barely covered bodies for pictures with the audience. Then when you didn't purchase a photo, they snarled at you. This was not appreciated by the women of the group.

I have made bookings for years with Viator, and this one was so disappointing I left half way through... I paid a lot of money for this tour. It started by the bus being 45 minutes late, the guide was very laid back and after doing a 11 day tour with gate1 travel I was expecting a little more, should I say I didn't learn anything about this city from him, he was to busy flirting with a young Brazilian woman which enjoyed lunch and the afternoon tour at his expense. The lunch was at a Brazilian restaurant which was nice, but out of all the places in Rio we were going back to the same place for Dinner.......so disappointing I didn't bother..... probably should let people know that you go to the same restaurant twice!!!!

We loved seeing Rio from both Sugar Loaf and Corcovdo and the fun ride on the cog railway. The rhythms of the samba show were really great, along with the costumes.

The tour was outstanding, Sugar Loaf Mountain had a view that was unbelievable, Corcovado was amazing, and the Samba Show was fantastic. Note the all you could eat lunch and dinner was excellent, I ate until I could not eat another thing. I am already making plans to return to Rio and I will use your agency to book my tours.

I was staying 3 hours away from rio so I would only have 1 actual day to do any tours besides another day that I came back to Rio to do some hang gliding but no tours. Being that I only had 1 day to check everything out I picked this tour option because I can see 3 things in 1 day. I was a lone traveler and there were a few parts of the tours where the tour guides told you you had X amount of time to take pictures and to meet back in a certain area which was scary for me because I was alone and a few times during the tour I couldnt find the tour guide so I grouped myself with other people that came from my same tour to not get left behind with the bus. This situation happen to me both at the christ statue and sugar loaf. Other than that sugar loaf had amazing views with sun and by the time we got to the christ statue we had a few moments before it started to pour. It was very crowded at the Jesus statue. It was insane trying to take any sort of pictures with people constantly passing by but if you aim the camera upward itll look as if there are no people at all in your photos. There are stairs in front of the statue so you go down if you wish for pics. At night my hotel was nowhere near so I had changed from shorts to a skirt for the samba show. I had 1 hour to kill before I got picked up by the bus. By the way for each tour you will have a different tour guide and bus. Atleast thats how it was for me. With the 3 tours in one day you will also eat at the same restaurant 2x which is included in the price but you have to pay for your own drinks even if you get water. You eat at the restaurant after sugar loaf and then again after christ, before the samba show but you will be hungry again because each tour it takes a while to pick up all the people from the hotels and the traffic in the city is bad and it takes a while to go up and down for each tour. The samba show was ok nothing special. Cool costumes a few nice dances dont expect to be blown away.

The Samba Show was pretty average, the venue was run down and the dinner was in the city, at the same place and with same menu as for the lunch... The Corcovado and Sugar Loaf tours were fine.

The trip to Redeemer was very good. The morning part was just fair. Since we took the whole day tour we ate in the same restaurant for lunch and dinner, that wasn't so great
