The trip was wonderful. But it was made even better by the great captain Claudio who was so knowledgeable about the seas and the islands but above all a really lovely guy who made everyone feel part of the experience. The islands were amazing and so pretty, each one with it's own different feel. This is a trip that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Olhão. Well worth it

This is a fun day trip and it is interesting seeing the outlining islands. We were given plenty of time to explore each island and also have lunch.

This boat trip exceeded our expectations . We debated about getting the taxi boats to the various islands but decided against it and I am very glad we did. We booked the three island 5 hour tour . Carlos was our guide he was very friendly and funny and made everyone feel welcome and relaxed on the tour . We visited the three islands and an extra one was thrown in as the weather was so amazing and Carlos was keen for us to enjoy the day. The whole experience felt very relaxed and we were allowed plenty of time on the different islands to eat , swim and chill with no pressure to hurry to be back on the boat - all very laid back . The islands are well worth visiting and I had one of the best meals of my whole holiday on Culatra .The islands have a vibe like the Caribbean, the water is so clear with lovely white sand . When you go to the harbour in Olhao there are other places doing trips but I recommend that you save yourself the time and effort and reserve Odyssey Trips in advance of your stay you really will have a great time with this company . It was great. We had lovely weather and our captain Gabriel guided Very good. We got a good explaination of the area Ria Formosa. And as a treat we enjoyed a dorade fish, catched directly from the river, grilled , Very jammie jammie!

Our guide created a good vibe and provided interesting info, felt genuine and connective even tough he must have done this countless times. As a solo traveller it was also nice for me to be in a small group. Space to do my own thing on the islands or be together. I actually expected it to be mainly a nature tour with bird watching, but it was island hopping as mentioned in the description. Due to the high tides there was less nature to see, but it didn’t spoil the experience. Check for low tides upfront if you want to see the sandbanks with birds. For me, not in sightseeing mode on a transit day going from east to west algarve, this was the best pitstop during the day to relax at multiple beach bars on the islands. Iam going again tomorrow before i fly home, already looking forward to it 😎 🏝️

Highly recommend this trip with Odyssey The company was easy to find on the harbour, boat was great and Claudio was an exceptional guide. We had a fun group with lots of chat. We visited 3 islands and Claudio gave us great recommendations for what we could do on each. It was very relaxed and easy - can’t recommend it enough.

This trip was amazing, Carlos was professional, very knowledgeable & was able to converse in three languages to cater to all of there. I hope future visitors learn about and respect this area of natural beauty. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Great guide - Claudio- who was very good at both english and french. Exciting, enjoyable and perfectly safe boat trip close to the sand banks, lots of free time to discover the Islands and good advice on what to see and where to eat. A perfect day!

Booked this trip on several recommendations and was not disappointed. Fantastic day with a very knowledgeable captain who was very happy to answer questions and informative about the islands. Stopped for lunch and had home made ice-cream, which was worth the trip. Everyone had an amazing day with Odyssey boat tours.

Guillaume, our cheerful guide and skipper, made our tour of the Ria Formosa an unforgettable experience! His excellent command of both French and English made communication effortless, as he explained everything about his beautiful home region with enthusiasm and patience. He took his time with everything and encouraged us to do the same, while we learned many interesting facts about the area. The islands were a fantastic discovery for us. Definitely recommended!

We spent a really nice day. We visit the 3 (2 islands) (we still didn't understand why the big island is considered as two ? Maybe when the tide is up it creates two islands ? We had a lunch on the second island where we were very welcomed and ate fisches and oysters very good. The stop on the third island was a little bg long. Thanks to Guil for all the good time.

The tour was absolutely amazing! Got to see so much of Faro’s natural environment. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt lots of new things about the different islands! Saw many beautiful sceneries, very happy with this whole experience

We did both the sunset tour and the 5 hour trip. Both were amazing. The two Captains were very knowledgeable about the local area, had good humour and reacted very well to their guests. Both spoke excellent English as well as Portuguese and in the case of the second Captain, also Spanish. The islands themselves were beautiful and we had plenty of time to wander around. On the second trip we had an excellent lunch at a local restaurant recommended by the boat Captain. We really enjoyed both trips, and wouldn’t hesitate them to anyone visiting the Algarve. We really hope to go again in years to come.
