This tour is a must if you're visiting the Ciudad Valles area! Even though the water levels were much lower than expected this time of year there were still plenty of rapids to enjoy and the tour guides made the day so much fun.. Also the location is epic in the middle of a dense jungle canyon!!

We had a very great time! I highly recommend the tour. We did Xilitla, rafting, repel and jumping of waterfalls. Morning pick up always on time driving also very safely. Guides were very friendly and always took care of our safety and made sure we were comfortable with all activities. I can’t decide which activity was my favorite because they were all amazing!

We were picked up at our hotel at 8:45. The can was comfortable and air conditioned. The staff was friendly and we felt safe the entire trip. In fact, I appreciate that the guides decided not to risk our health on one of the rougher areas, and therefore had us get out of the rafts and walk a little to avoid injuries. So this is not a rafting trip for those that like extreme experiences. The currents were just enough to have a thrill w/o feeling afraid. Warning! Bring long-sleeves and light, water-proof pants. Yes! Pants to go rafting, because the sun is brutal. A good hat that covers as much as your head/neck is also highly recommended. Finally, the buffet lunch was surprisingly delicious.

Was probably one of the best experiences our family had in Huasteca Potosina that was an all-inclusive experience from being picked up from our house rental, travel out to the rafting site, lunch and of course that rafting trip itself. The guides were phenomanel and entertaining and spoke great English which helped as our family does not. They also ensured everyone was safe and prepared. Booking and communication with the company was easy and efficient. The rapids itself were not too difficult and we wished for a bit more, but we were visting at a time that the water levels were lower (some of the other waterfalls we visited were dried up). Also, there are a few times during the trip where you had to row for some time, but that also is a good thing as it gives you time to really look around and just enjoy the beuty of the Tampaon river. And the food! It was probably one of the best meals of the trip. Highly recommended!!!

One of the best experiences I had in Mexico! A must do! The river is beautiful, the landscape you see is incredible, and the instructors were amazing! I couldn’t have ask for a better trip.

The guides were amazing! They made us feel so safe and calm but still made it fun and interesting! Arturo was our guide and he has been doing this for 14 years, we were in great hands. The food was delicious too.

This was such a fun activity and an excellent way to explore the Tampaon River, one of the many wonders of the Huasteca Potosina, and its beautiful surroundings. I can't say enough good things about the guides; they were professional, friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and they make you feel extremely safe. I can't wait to go back to that beautiful paradise, because there WILL be a next time, and do this tour again (but a more intense level, now that I know how well they care for you & how safe it is). Rafting River Tampaon was one of the best experiences in my life. The amazing views of the mountains and the river together with the sound of the birds and seeing the birds flying in the sky was unbelievable. The team that guide us thru the rapids did an amazing job to make sure we were safe at all times. Jose Luis our guide ensure that we had a great time while we were rafting. The most safety conscious rafting trip I've ever been on ! Arturo, Mili, and their team were warm, fun, and incredibly skilled at creating a safe and beautiful rafting experience for my day on the river (and also my birthday). The other wonderful thing Arturo did was to make sure we bonded as a team before we even got on our raft. He encouraged us to introduce ourselves, share our rafting experiences, and discuss our hopes for the rafting experience. Even with my limited Spanish skills, I was able to understand Arturo's instructions without any problems. Thank you so much !!!!!

It was a great experience. I enjoyed every minute of it. The staffs are all well trained and very patient with us. They took the time to make sure we all felt comfortable and had fun through the whole activity. Highly recommend!

I spend a week in Ciudad Valles to discover all the beautiful nature that surrounds the city. Because I was a solo traveler who came without a car and I love to do sporty activities I decided to do 6 days of tours with Huaxteca and I can’t recommend them enough. In the 6 activities I swam in Puente de dios, went on a canoe trip to Tamul, walked over a bridge at a height of 80 meters, went paddleboarding to a waterfal, saw the emigration of the birds, went down a cliff with rappel activity, jumped waterfalls and in the end rafted river Micos and more. Huaxteca is the right company to do this with. They were professional, experienced and made sure that people have a good time. Whether you are a solo traveler or with more people and if you only speak english the guides can explain everything in english

The team was very professional and fun. I felt very safe considering it was my first time. I would recommend planning an adventure with them.
