Racing Bike Tour The Sphinxes of Lessinia
Overview
From the shores of Lake Garda, we cycle in the Garda hinterland, with its gentle hills covered with olive trees and vines. We then enter the heart of Valpolicella, a land of famous wines such as Recioto and Amarone, passing through ancient villages including San Giorgio in Valpolicella, known for its Romanesque church. Pedaling through woods and pastures, you climb up into Upper Lessinia where you can admire the "sphinxes" of Lessinia, that is, numerous rock monoliths, shaped by nature over thousands of years. Along the way you will have wonderful views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
