What to expect
After an early evening pickup from your central Cairo or Giza hotel, travel directly to the Giza plateau in the comfort of your own private, air-conditioned vehicle.
Enjoy the views of Cairo at dusk as you travel, and on arrival, bid goodbye to your driver and take your seat for the incredible 1-hour sound and light show.
Watch as the Great Sphinx — the massive statue of a mythical human-headed lion that fronts the pyramids — is suddenly illuminated. The Sphinx will act as the 'storyteller' for the show, narrating a distilled history of Egypt and the pharaohs who built the pyramids via a dramatic soundtrack.

É bem legal ver as pirâmides e a esfinge durante o show, o efeito visual é bem diferente dos passeios diurnos. Dito isso o show em si é chato e tecnicamente pobre. Acho que tem muito espaço para melhorar mas, no geral, fiquei feliz de ter ido.

We loved this. Yes you could argue its a touch kitsch and touristry but honestly, you are visiting one of the great tourist attractions in the world. Plenty of seating, the normal assortment of stray dogs of course ... it was just a cracking evenings entertainment. Durante o show, ficam subindo e descendo carros com faróis altos acesos que ofuscam a visão e incomodam. Infelizmente achei uma grande armadilha de turista e não acrescentou nada na minha viagem.
