Our guide, Christopher, was great! It was a very long day full of so many fun and exciting activities. Definitely worth every penny. Christopher was fun to be around, knowledgeable about the area, and the made the experience very special. We did so much in one day- it was amazing! A must do if you are in Banos.

This tour was a great experience! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and went out of his way to make our day memorable.

This was literally one of the best experiences of my life. The guide, Alberto and his son Nixon were so knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. They showed us so many things and were so generous with sharing a lot of information. I was just with my 2 boys aged 11 and 13 and we really enjoyed the one on one experience with the guides.

We had a fabulous time on this activity filled day trip. Our guide Shamang was friendly & knowledgeable. We visited a monkey rescue reserve, fed giant prehistoric fish, visited an indigenous community ( more on that later), had a short dugout canoe trip, ate a delicious lunch, saw chocolate made from cacao plant to hot chocolate and hiked in the jungle to an amazing waterfall. Be aware that there are fees not mentioned in the tour description. About $20 worth. The indigenous community was clearly just there for tourists & kind of cheesy & awkward. This is a great way to spend a day in Baños.

We enjoyed this day trip a lot. Alberto made sure we have a great experience on our private tour. We visited nice viewpoints (Mirador Miramera and Finca Mirador Indichuris), did canoeing, tried some local food & drinks at the market (eg. chontacuro worms), had a nice lunch (with amazon fish, but also vegetarian was good, vegan would have been available without eggs), hiked in rubber boots to the nice waterfall cascada hola vida and took a short bath, and finally had a hot chocolate and a yuca empanada on our way home. All in all a long day with a lot of highlights!

Our trip with Ivagatours was amazing. From the very beginning they took good care of us. Despite the short time we had, everything was well organized and we had a lots of fun! I can just recommend them!!

We were so lucky to have just ourselves on this tour - Chevito was very engaging, experienced and knowledgeable. I recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see a lot in just a one day tour. We toured a monkey rescue that included a beautiful short walk through a jungle environment; a longer hike through the jungle around Hola Vida waterfall — it was spectacular - an easy hike in and out with a stunning waterfall; we stopped for a traditional lunch of fish steamed in a large leaf (delicious) and then we visited an indigenous community where we took part in a ceremony and a calm boat ride in a hand carved panga; our last stop was at Mirador Indichuris where we had a view from what seemed to be the top of the world - there was a swing that took us out over the valley below, giving an amazing view and thrilling experience.

We had so much fun on this tour! My travel partner and I happened to be the only people on the tour that day, so we had a VIP experience. Our guide, Alberto, and our driver, German, were extremely fun to spend the day with. Our Spanish wasn't very good, but our guides' English was great so there was no problem understanding everything. First, we stopped to see a gorgeous waterfall and got to try some traditional alcohol and learn a little bit about some traditional practices in the Amazon. Then we stopped at the wildlife refuge and got to see several species of birds, reptiles, primates and cats. Then we enjoyed a leisurely canoe trip, and stopped for a delicious lunch. After a quick nap in some hammocks next to the restaurant, we trekked through the jungle to a waterfall and went for a quick swim. Our next stop was at Mirador Indichuris, where our daredevil guides showed us a rope swing over the edge of the world. Next we stopped at a small cocoa farm where we enjoyed a snack and some fresh hot chocolate! Our last stop was at an Indigenous community where we learned how to fire blow darts and got to try chicha. My favourite parts of this tour were the waterfall, relaxing canoe ride and the wildlife refuge! I would definitely recommend this tour with Alberto and German!

The one day jungle tour was so fun! Our guide Alberto was very friendly and informative. He went above and beyond taking photos of us and driving slowly so I wouldn't get motion sickness. We especially enjoyed the jungle walk and swimming in the waterfall.

This excursion greatly surpassed expectations. We started off viewing Pailon del Diablo waterfall then travelled to the wildlife sanctuary. Carlos was very knowledgeable of the animals and the sanctuary as well. Next, we trekked through the Amazon jungle to a beautiful waterfall. After viewing the waterfall we were taken to an indigenous community where we had our faces painted and learned to use a blow dart. Next, we took a ride down the river in a dugout canoe which was nothing short of amazing. After riding down the river we were taken to a viewpoint overlooking the river and Amazon jungle. Last, but not least, we arrived at a cacao farm where we prepared and tasted cacao beans. We were served delicious food by the farm owners. I highly recommend this tour with Carlos.

There was not a single disappointment or bad moment during this whole tour! Our group was just my girlfriend, our wonderful guide Ricardo, and I so we were able to take our time during each activity and our guide shared lots of information about the birds and plants in the forest. Lunch was delicious as well and we enjoyed eating cacao fruit at a farm at the end of the day. Some tour groups around Banos may be a bit cheaper, but Ivaga is absolutely worth a bit more money as every part of the tour is amazing! We had a wonderful trip and if we had more time we would definitely do more tours/activities with them.

I engaged Ivaga Tours for 2 days and I have to say I have no regrets at all. The moment I arrived at the airport, Jose was there waiting for me and my partner. Jose and his colleague Gato were so friendly and fun to be with. They brought us to multiple places. If you’re thinking of doing any adventurous activities with them, do not hesitate. I have had such a good experience with them.

En este tour desde Baños hasta el Puyo, conocimos una parte de la Amazonia de Ecuador que no nos imaginábamos. Fue un paseo llenos de risas y asombro con las muchas experiencias que proporciona el tour. El señor guía, Alberto, fue un excelente instructor de la cultura amazónica con absoluta pasión por mostrar y compartir las maravillas naturales de la zona. Definitivamente lo recomiendo a los turistas con ánimo de conocer el oriente ecuatoriano.

Sehr ingeressanter Ausflug mit vielen verschiedenen Einblicken in die Region um Puyo. Alberto unser Guide konnte mit seinem umfangreichen Wissen die Tour super gestalten. Das Rescue-Center für Affen und der Spaziergang durch den Wald zum Wasserfall fand ich besonders toll.

Agradezco la amabilidad y servicio del tour. Lo recomiendo totalmente ya que es un tour en donde no se enfocan en la rapidez de ver los espacios, sino en que los turistas puedan conocer con tranquilidad los sitios. Un tour que lo tiene todo, desde naturaleza, historia, aventura y relajo. Definitivamente uno de los mejores tours que he tomado.

Mi pareja y yo hicimos el tour Hola vida de 1 día y fue una muy buena experiencia, visitamos excelentes miradores en el Oriente ecuatoriano, mercado del Puyo, una comunidad indígena, un refugio de animales salvajes rescatados, un paseo en canoa por un río, probamos platos locales y visitamos una cascada magnífica en medio de la selva y a un productor local de chocolate. Son muchas cosas en un solo día y una gran manera de conocer aunque sea un poco del oriente ecuatoriano. Una excelente experiencia redondeada también por el magnífico servicio de Alberto quién nos ofreció mucha información y explicaciones de todo lo que hicimos
