Miguel and Louis were excellent tour guides. Miguel brought the history of PV and area to life. He was extremely informative on the day to day life of Mexicans today. Yes, it has a shopping element, but you are free to partake or not. Boy, did Louis get us out of a rock and a hard place!!! Excellent driver. Great restaurant in a typical village for lunch. A really enjoyable day.

Besides not seeing much of the “city”, we waited at every stop well beyond the time allocated and so it was a very annoying and frustrating tour… not worth your time. It did not start well when the bus was an hour late from the time designated for pickup. We waited 30 minutes for a bathroom break 15 minutes into the tour. We waited for people getting ice coffees when that wasn’t even a stop. We waited 30 minutes for 20 people in our group to get fruit from a single street vendor. We waited an hour for people to shop for silver jewelry when our guide said 20 minutes. We waited 1.5 hours for people to eat lunch. We waited for people to shop for tequila. We waited and waited and waited. Additionally we had both Spanish and English people on our 30+ passenger bus and they would talk when our guide was giving information in English… loud enough that we couldn’t hear him. Because our guide had to speak both Spanish and English we felt we may have missed out on things that could have been shared while walking/driving by places. We would recommend to the company they offer a bus for English only or Spanish (or other languages) only per tour. We also thought this was a “City Tour” but the majority of the time was spent driving in the country along to coast to the small village where we had lunch and the tequila factory. We had already booked a tour to see much of that area, so this was also frustrating. Sadly we hardly saw any part of the “city” of Puerto Vallarta on this tour.

The parts of the tour we experienced was great. We missed an hour of the tour because of issues on your end and was compensated with a bottle of wine. We were transferred to another tour company to complete the tour.

The pick up time was delayed due to traffic issues. I was upset that the pick up was delayed. The tour guide apologized and off we went! This tour was amazing! The tour guide was great and very informative! We were chaperones at each stop and enjoyed a great lunch that was included. Highly recommend this tour and would not hesitate to do it again!

Horrible shopping based tour. You will spend most of your 6 hour day going to the stores they want you buying from (tequila tasting, jewelery buying, and leather buying). Not much culture or history. So if you want to learn sometging about Puerto Vallarta or be free-ish to walk the city forget about this one.

Our tour guide Miguel knew the city inside and out, history and dates and all. We appreciate his flexibility when we couldn't stay for the entire tour (due to our cruise ship departure time), and he helped us navigate the city before we had to go. It would be helpful if the tour company can post the exact places and spots (with addresses) of where the tour would go, so those with a time deadline could plan accordingly. The communication was excellent, calling and helping us find the pickup meeting spot.

Relaxing but fun and informative also. Wonderful, knowledgeable guide, too. Comfortable bus ride with AC. We loved learning more about the area and visiting the sights. Lunch was delicious, as well.

The tours were very good and we had fun learning for the day. We had plenty of time to look around and the food was awesome at the open air restaurant we stopped at.

The tour was budget friendly.. Miguel,our guide was excellent..he explained in detail about the history of Puerto Vallarta..I highly recommend going with Miguel..

A must! Our guide Adam was fantastic. Being a native of PVR, we received the greatest tour. David was the "frontman" that ensured we all ready for the day. Along with our group, we added some amazing friends from Canada and California. We saw the city, the ocean, and the countryside, all the while learning the history of PVR "proper" The tour included a FANTASTIC lunch that we highly recommend you add to your package. The lobster, the mahi-mahi, the shrimp, both kinds was life changing! The staff was excellent and price was just right. I highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky to have Adam as your guide, you are definitely in for a treat.

We booked an English tour but at least 10 people did not speak English so guide had to do commentary in 2 languages. Therefore we feel we missed out on information due to time constraints. Shopping was not as expected and we were taken to pre-determined shopping without much opportunity to explore other shopping options. Enjoyed the tequila tour and the lunch was very good. Really would call this a city tour as majority of time spent outside of Puerto Vallarta.

My wife and I took our entire family of eleven on a Princess cruise to the Mexican Riviera. Puerto Vallarta was the highlight of the trip! Rather than a cruise endorsed tour, we chose a van/driver on the pier. Alfredo, aka Oso (bear) took us on a wonderful excursion through the city and into the surrounding area. South of town, we stopped at a tequila shop and then to a terrific lunch spot right on the beach. We had several stops to shop and stroll a variety of sightseeing locations. We would do it all over again!

Alfonso was very knowledgeable about the places we visited in Puerto Vallarta… but my husband and I especially appreciated hearing about Mexico’s history and culture. The size of our group 8-12 made it easy to get your questions answered. The pace of the tour was relaxed and comfortable.

Great experience overall! It was hard to reach the tour operator at first, no one was answering the phone shown on the viator website and when I called the # on their fb page, they don’t seem to find our reservation. Gave me another number to call that’s no longer in service. I finally sent a message on viator website and got a reply couple of hours later. Eric (the driver) and David (the guide) were both very friendly. We’d love to spend a bit more time in DT and visiting the church though. Tequila tasting was great and the restaurant was very nice too!

We got Adam as our tour guide and Ivan the driver. The tour gave us an overview of Puerto Vallarta's history. A couple of highlights include the boardwalk, the church, lunch at the mountain, and wine tasting at the tequila factory. Our tour guide Adam was humorous and told good stories. He's very personable, patient, and approachable. We highly recommended this tour for those looking for easy and relaxing activities, especially families with kids. Do book in advance for the best prices on Viator.

We have done several Puerto Vallarta day tours and this was the best bang for the buck. Miguel was pleasant and informative and he takes great pride in his "home town." The pace was good. The bus was new and comfortable. Luis, the driver, was careful and helpful. Altogether, a very nice day.
