If you are interested in making it a "drunk city tour", we'll be more than glad to share San Jose's history with you. You will visit 5 bars total during the tour and will receive a welcome shot at each stop. You will get skip-the-line access at each of them and entrance fees are included, so all you have to worry about is having fun!

We joined the pub crawl mid February with visiting friends from Argentina, the United States, Italy and The Philippines. It was a great way to spend time together, have our guests see some of San José, and learn more about Costa Rica from locals. We had previously joined Carpe Chepe for the free...
We joined the pub crawl mid February with visiting friends from Argentina, the United States, Italy and The Philippines. It was a great way to spend time together, have our guests see some of San José, and learn more about Costa Rica from locals. We had previously joined Carpe Chepe for the free city tour, and since we had a good time then, we decided to sign up for this pub crawl. We were not disappointed. All of our friends enjoyed themselves and we got to discover some new places ourselves as well. We visited different bars and didn't have to wait in line at any of the these places. This was really nice because some of the bars had lots of people lined up outside waiting for their turn to go inside. The guides were very friendly, bilingual, and made sure everyone enjoyed their night out. They seemed to be having a good time themselves as well and they kinda just felt like part of our group! It sometimes took a while to get drinks, but other than that we had zero complaints. We would definitely sign up for this pub crawl again in the future, or try one of the other tours that Carpe Chepe offers. If you're looking for a fun night out, this is it!593danab

This is nothing like the touristy pub crawls you know, it's made & run by locals and you will visit local bars & party at best clubs (skipping really long lines of locals - which by itself proves a lot). I went solo, but I highly recommended even if you're coming with friends/your other half

OMG.... THIS IS A MUST!!!!!! I’ve never done anything like this before... This was so much fun. At first, I thought it was going to be a cold boring night, but as soon as everyone started talking to each other, the fun started. Meeting and interacting with new people was the highlight of the nigh...

Meeting and interacting with new people was the highlight of the night; at every stop, we got to take a shot. The tour operator was very informative and so nice to everyone. I would definitely come for another night if I was staying in San Jose longer. You have to add this to your to do list if visiting San Jose, CR.
