Very informative tour with Samar Helmy. She provided all amswers and insights in Egyptian history and culture. We visited Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, the alabaster factory, the colossi of Memnon. Highly recommended.

Our trip was with Mahmoud Azab (Superman) and it was by far best experience in Egypt. He can speak english very well and told us all important stuff. And when we asked him, he always knew anwer. We recomend.

The hot air balloon was absolutely amazing! The views we got in the morning was fantastic and would definitely do this again. Mena who was our tour guide after was also amazing and did an amazing job with taking us around, keeping away the scammers and making sure we were taken care of! Again would recommmend 100%.

We had the most amazing tour exploring the West Bank. Esshak our tour guide was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions very well. A very informative tour and we were given so much time to explore the sites, and Esshak took so many amazing pictures of us too. Highly recommend!!

The trip was exceptionally planned by Nice Tours. We received the itinerary well in advance. They were always available on WhatsApp with prompt responses. Our guide Ms. Esraa was the icing on the cake. She has terrific knowledge and has a warm personality. We were lucky to have her as our guide.

Hot air ballon We (a family of 2 adults and 2 children (11, 14)), had a very nice balloon ride. When reading my review it will look like, but I give 4 due to some good personal experiences. The good Balloon ride was a fantastic experience, but don’t expect to flye many kilometers away from the take-off sight. View and experience was top. The bad Transport from hotel to boat was ok. Boat ride from East to West bank was not pleasant, not sure why it was not possible to simply drive there. Be aware: - that you will fly in short end of what is marketed. 30 minutes likely. - there are no guarantees of seeing specific sigths despite what marketing text may say (which also makes sense due to wind direction) On the balloon ride the Captain says… “you are en luck, you will get to see the Valley of the Kings”, however, we did not. Instead he says 5 minutes later “Valley of the Kings is behind those mountains”??? Egypt in a nutshell - always divide by 2 or 3, so you get promises alligned to reality. Tour Guide (Hatsepsut, Karnak, Luxor Temple) Very informative and comfortable. We have reviewed the guided tour in a seperate review with 5*. Did stop by souvenir shop, but no pressure to buy, so it was ok. Just nice to know. Lunch was most likely fine, but we were food cautious anywhere outside our hotels. Felucca ride It was apparantly a motor boat ride, not Felucca. Bit strange. Transport We were 4 people. But got a small car. Excuse was that they expected smaller children - but how do you have 2 adults and 2 children safely in a small car, when there is also a guide and chauffeur? In order not to delay the tour we accepted the circumstances - luckily we are not large people and could squeeze. Overall - there is a lot of “Over promise, under deliver”, which is in general the case in Egypt. Tour guide was good, and so were the two contacts Makarios and in particular Merna. However, an advice would be not to show up in the hotel 22.30 the night before to give out tickets, that can be just as well delivered in the morning.

We had the most amazing experience in Luxor! The views from the hot air balloon are stunning! The temples are amazing and our guide Khaled Galal was honestly the best guide ever! He has so much knowledge about Egypt and he made our experience unforgettable! Marina, was always helping us with queries and organizing everything, she made everything so smooth and perfect! Our full-day Luxor tour was phenomenal, thanks to our guide Samar Nagi and driver Fakhory. Samar's deep knowledge of the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, and more made history come alive. She was friendly, kind, and respected our wishes, never pushing us into unwanted activities - a refreshing change from other tours. Fakhory's driving was top-notch, ensuring a smooth journey throughout. This tour was a standout experience; Samar and Fakhory made it unforgettable. Very informative two-day tour in Luxor with a great guide Ahmed Bahaa. Everything was on time and as planned. And our coordinator Zeinab helped us along the way almost 24/7. She was truly amazing.

Our "Nice Tours" experience in Luxor was a delight, offering a holistic exploration of the ancient town. Marina, our coordinator was friendly and approachable at all times. She accomodated our requests even at the last min. Picked up at 3:30 am, the hot air balloon ride provided breathtaking views of the landscape. The west bank visit to the Valley of Kings, Memnon & Hatshepsut Temple offered a fascinating glimpse into history. Then, a felucca ride to the east bank, visiting Luxor Temples was followed by a tasty traditional Egyptian lunch (including veg options). A private air-conditioned car ensured comfort through the journey. The highlight was our guide Ahmed, whose enthusiasm & knowledge made the tour exceptional. From punctuality to fluent English, he shared in-depth insights into ancient Egyptian culture & savvy tips for saving money at sites and souvenir markets. Despite a slightly hectic itinerary, every moment was worth the time & money invested. Ahmed's amicability and recommendations ensured a seamless, memorable experience. Overall, this tour is a great value for money & highly recommended.

Thanks to Elaria from nice tours for coordinating everything from our pick up at our hotel in Cairo to the airport, to our hot air balloon ride, to meeting up with our Egyptologist for a day around the Valley of the Kings. We had an excellent time all thanks to Elaria with her excellent communication skills!

It was awesome - nice balloon🎈 ride over the Valley of the Kings early morning. Marina from Nice travels arranged the transportation perfectly and was available online for the whole duration. After the balloon ride, we meet our guide Ahmed Anwar - he took us for the West Bank and East Bank tour - his knowledge about Egyptian history was really admirable. He answered all our queries and was always with us in person for the whole tour. He was explaining always with a smile for the 10 hours, he was with us even in the scorching heat during noon time. I enjoyed the most the balloon ride. After that, Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut was an unique temple to visit. Then comes the Valley of the Kings - paying 500 Egp extra for Tomb of Tutankhamun was worth it to see the only Mummy outside Egyptian Museum. Luxor and Karnak temples also had a lot to say - will cherish all the memories from this trip.

We had to rate this experience lower unlike all others we did with Nice tours. This combo tour is amazing and we do recommend it. The hot air balloon was very professional and absokutely incredible experience. The views are stunning and you get to see the whole valley and the desert and many of the top sights in Luxor from bird eye view. The downside for us incredible complicated way the transfer to and from hot air balloon was handled. This probably goes more to the hot air balloon company but you have to leave your cruise or a hotel at 3:30 in the morning to be taken to water taxi, where you will wait 30-45 minutes and are subjected to sell of videos etc. Waiting for all boat taxis to be filled with people so they can depart all in one go. Then all people are herded into vans, some more confortable than others and people fighting and refusing to get in some. Accompanied by another 45 min wait in the van because of traffic and the whole logistics was just mindblowing (in negative sense). We had to change the van 4 times. Given you are 4 kms from the hot air balloon launch site if you are staying on East bank of Luxor, we travelled by a car, water taxi and five different vans. This whole set up taking 2 hours. At the end of this unique transport we were not even able to pop to a toilet before the hot air balloon flight. If we were taken directly to the hot air balloon launch site, it would be 30 minutes in a car over the bridge and 1 hour 30 minutes longer sleep. Some people at the boat knew this and organised their transport separately. I would next time. When we finished we were taken to Colossi of Memnon where we then had to wait 1 hour and half until our guide picked us up to start with Valley of the kings. Apparently a hick up in communication. The guide was knowledgeable but note they do not go inside any of the tombs with you, which is a bit disappointing as that is where the guide would be the most useful. Neither they did inside the Hatshepsut temple, but they did show us around Karnak temple. Because we had to leave Luxor at 1 pm, our trip had to be short and we had to cut on Luxor temple and felucca ride. Our guide sorted lunch for us to have a take away which was appreciated. The car was really good and comfortable but not for 5 people (we were three tall adults squashed at the back, while the guide and the driver sat in the front) We do recommend this trip, it's a great value and great all arounder tour of Luxor. But be aware logistics in Egypt are sometimes unnecessarily complicated. Maybe they will improve this part in the future.

The trip in the Hot air baloon, was one of the highlights at luxor. It was well arranged from pickup at our hotel in Cairo to the airport as well as in luxor and back. Zeniab communicated all the steps very well. And took good are of us. Our guide during the tours Reyad was great and gave us alot of information on the history and culture which made it even more meaningfull to us.
