My husband and I had an amazing trip, thanks to our guide Alex. He was extremely flexible with the itinerary. We hadn't done much research ourselves, and were completely counting on him to help us out with options. We were more interested in seeing the villages and enjoying scenic landscape, over a wine tour, and keeping that in mind, Alex helped us chart out our days plan that ended up being the highlight of our italy trip. He was so flexible, that he even allowed us to spend more time at San Gimignano even though the trip was only supposed to be 8 hrs long. It was truly a memorable day.
Our trip with Simone was excellent. I booked a last minute tour to Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti and was amazed at how everything went without a hitch. Simone was very nice and knowledgeable. He took us to great restaurant for lunch where we had a wonderful time. Opted for a wine tasting stop and it was also awesome. Highly recommended. We were party of 8 and tour was on Dec 04’19.
This tour is amazing! Massimo was our guide, he was excellent I highly recommend him! The great thing about a private tour is that you can customize it, and Massimo did a great job of that! I explained to him that I love photography and I am not as into sitting around wine tasting, so he customized the tour and we skipped that sit down lunch that would have used maybe 2 hours and instead did a quicker lunch in Siena, so that we had more opportunities for scenic photo stops along the way! Superb! If I book this tour again to see new places, I will definitely request him!

My wife and I did this tour with our host named Alessandro. It's incredible. The views are breathtaking and every recommendation from Alessandro was perfect. We visited several towns and he also took us to a wine tasting at a vineyard with some of the best food and wine we've ever tasted. We will do this trip again when we return.
From start to finish this was a very special wine tasting tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to some very interesting places in Tuscany to savor not only delicious and very special wines but also amazing home cooked meals. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
This tour was wonderful! We went to Siena, a winery for lunch and tasting and then San Gimignano. He even took us by Piazza Michelangelo on the way back to our airbnb and got some great photos for us. Gino went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Alex provided a whirlwind tour of the area. He was very happy to tailor the tour for our needs, was very knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. Thank you
We had Alex as our guide and he was wonderful! He was very personable and knowledgeable, especially about wine. He took us to a farm where we had a delicious lunch and tour of their winery. It was the best day of my 14 day vacation in Italy!
Alex was very informative, professional and patient. He gave a great tour of the vineyards and explained the wine making process to the point of stopping and showing us the grapes.
My wife and I had a great time with our private tour guide Alessandro. It was our first time in Tuscany and did not want to go through the hassle of renting a car and navigating through the cities.
Alessandro went out of his way to give us the history and explanations of everywhere we visited along with the history of the Tuscany region.
The tour was flexible and catered to our wishes with Alessandro going out of the way to show us specific things we wanted to see.
Highly recommended.
This was a great private day trip. Private is the way to go. We were able to customize the itinerary a bit and Alex/Alessandro was very knowledgeable and helpful This was a highlight of our trip!!!! We really liked walking through the small villages.
We had a wonderful day with Alesandro. He have us so much history about Sienna and communicated very well about our pick up areas. He made a great lunch reservation for us too. I would book with him again on our next trip!
Silvia was a fantastic guide and a great person. She recommended a private wine tour at Casanova and it was the best part of our trip. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone. As an FYI, there is no “ guided tour” of Siena or San Gimignano as we had time in each city to explore which we prefer.
The private tour in our limo service with our driver Alex was excellent. He was on time to pick us at the hotel and is a very corteous, friendly and well prepared driver. Although he is not a tour guide, he provided us with useful and enough information about the placed we were going to visit and along the way. He managed to schedule proper times for visiting the towns of Siena and San Giminiagno as well as to book a wonderful lunch at a local farm were we tasted good Chianti wines and food prepared by the owners. The only down side was the server at lunch, which tried to do a good job but prevented us from enjoying a peaceful time from all the information she gave about everything. This of course is not a problem of the company which provided our private tour but more of the farm staff. Other than that the tour went flawless, we enjoyed a lot the experience and we returned on time to our hotel feeling refreshed and not tired because of the one to one service and the comfortable ride. We would highly recommend the tour to friends and family.
Best tour of the entire trip. Had no idea what to expect out in the country. Siena was a beautiful old town with a round city square. A stop by Monteriggioni for lunch was fun. The drive through Tuscany was filled with beauty. Highly recommend this private tour so you can spend the time you want along the way!
Our driver Alessandro was outstanding!! He was so knowledgeable about the region and especially the wine. In addition to our visits Siena and San Gimignano, he helped us pick a great winery for lunch.and was able to squeeze in another winery stop for a tasting on our way back to Florence. He also took us on a backroads tour through the Chianti Classico area so we really were able to see and appreciate the amazing area rather than just driving in and out of a winery.
Alex was amazing, nice, very easy going person. He made you feel right at home providing all the information you needed. It was a nice trip away from the big city. Definitely would do it again especially with Alex as the guide!
This was the perfect experience. Our guide, Alex, was engaging, informative, and focused on meeting our specific interests for our tour of the Chianti region surrounding Florence. He chose beautiful and off-the-beaten path villages and wineries which were marvelous.
We had the most wonderful day with Alex touring the countryside. We like to avoid the crowds so Alex tailored our tour to see more of the countryside and small midevil villages. He also took us to a small vineyard where everything is organic. We had a private lunch with the most wonderful wines and balsalmic. The day could not have been better. Alex was very knowledgable about the wines/vineyards and countryside so we learned a lot. We took several private tours and while they were all very good, this one was by far our favorite. Thanks so much Alex for a great day!
The best lunch we had in 3 weeks! Alessandro gave us a couple of options we choose farmhouse lunch and winery. This was best experience ever. He did a great job explaining the region and very accommodating. We didn't leave much time for San Gimignano, but loved Sienna
Alessandro was the perfect guide for this region - not only was he knowledgeable about the area, but also VERY knowledgeable about wine and food so we foodies ourselves were able to have really interesting conversations about the region, terroir, locavorean trends, the wine business, mushrooms, cheese, how the area and customs compare to our in California, food recommendations in Florence including the market and the best trippa cart... a foodie soulmate! This also led to his fantastic recommendation of a small production winery high up in the Chianti mountains which also made amazing balsamic vinegar, olive oil, pork products, honey and more for a delicious and leisurely lunch and tasting. We toured the grounds, met their boars and peacocks, saw the apiary and toured the cellars where we learned about vinegar and olive oil production, the house and its owner who stopped by to chat during lunch.
Near the end of the day when we were heading back North, Alessandro also asked if we were up for visiting one more winery, and despite some unexpected traffic he was able to ask them to stay open for us and we had our own private tasting there. And yet that still didn't completely wrap up the day he took some nice side roads to avoid the highway traffic so we got to see more of countryside at twilght, and even stopped up at Michelangelo Square overlooking Florence after dark since we hadn't been up there before. Absolutely stunning day and we would unequivocally recommend that you ask for Alessandro specifically to take you to the wine country.
