I would recommend this tour for anyone unfamiliar with the area. Sintra was beautiful, and the coastline dramatic. Luis was very knowledgeable and passionate about the places we visited.

What an unforgettable day seeing the beautiful sites of Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Cascais and more with the very talented Ricardo as our guide. Booked a tour of Pena Palace, Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais. José our guide picked us up from the hotel and instantly welcomed and joked with the group. The great thing is that the tour was for 8ppl max so José was able to interact clearly with us all! A great full day had!

The tour was very informative and enaging. The ride to the placed we visited was good, we travelled fast and safe, unfortunatelly it was raining when we went so we couldn't ha e a good look around, but our guide Luis made sure to slow down and explain something interesting along the ride. Our guide Luis was just amazing, totally recommend ! The Pena is a must see, Cabo da Roca is a bit windy but woth it !

I booked this trip through a Portuguese travel agent here in my home city of Toronto. It was through Viator. Over that one day my charming guide Lara (originally from Brazil) took me to Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais. She was with me from 9 AM until 6 PM, driving, explaining and helping me to appreciate the history of what I was seeing. Lara confided in me that this was her first private tour; up until working with me she had only been leading groups, and as a result she was a little nervous. She should not have been. Her professionalism shone through, plus by the end of the day I really felt that I had made a new friend. Her English was very good, and she should be proud of this. She left me on my own in both Sintra and Cascais for periods of time, but during those times she was busy preparing a gift to give me at the end of the day, which was unexpected and very sweet. The places are magnificent; Sintra is a mountainous town which contains the former royal palace; Cabo da Roca is the most western point in Europe, and Cascais is the Nice or Monte Carlo of Portugal. So between the scenery and Lara's excellent driving and interesting commentary, it was a wonderful and memorable day. I highly recommend this day tour to anyone spending time in Lisbon---- you will not be disappointed!

We had the BEST DAY! Luis was funny, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much about the places we visited and Portuguese history. Further, Luis was able to paint a picture of Portugal’s role in the global landscape from the 16th century to modern day. Peña Palace was fantastic and the coastal views, especially from Cabo da Roca, were incredible!

Luis made it a great day. Learned so much and truly enjoyed seeing more places in Portugal. Would recommend.

Had a wonderful time day out in Sintra. Was a tad foggy in the morning but that didn't take away the magic of Pena Palace Or guide Luis was great in explaining the relevant history and notable tips on Sintra Late in the afternoon we're awe struck by coastal views as we headed toward C da Roca Finished the trip in Cascais Overall highly recommended

As it is my first time in Lisbon I didn't know anything about anything, but Luís explained everything we were visiting with such detail and even helped me pick out a local snack in the town of Sintra. Thank you very much for the tour!!
