We are a family of 5 (2 teens and a 7 yo) and reserved 2 trips with Tas from Ancient Greece Tours. The first day was to Delphi and Arachova and the 2nd day was to Ancient Corinth, Acrocorinth, Isthmus Canal, and the Temple of Hera. Tas was phenomenal! He was always prompt and picked us up both days with Greek cookies and biscuits. His Mercedes van was always very clean and well stocked with cold water for us. Tas has a wealth of knowledge about the history of Greece. My husband and I were asking him a lot of questions and our conversations expanded into present-day Greece, politics, culture, his background, and so forth. We had some great conversations! He is also very kind and patient never rushing us. He was always telling us to take our time and at several of the stops, we spent more time than expected. On our 2nd day of touring, what was to be a 9-hour tour ended up being 11 hours. Tas also made reservations at 2 fantastic restaurants in both Delphi and Ancient Corinth. Our lunch at Delphi was at To Patriko Mas which had a gorgeous veranda overlooking olive fields and the Gulf of Corinth/Athens Riviera. Lunch at our 2nd trip was at Taverna Gemelos which was next to Ancient Corinth so while we were dining on their rooftop veranda, we had the best view and felt like we were dining within Ancient Corinth. We highly recommend booking with Ancient Greek Tours - truly the best tour guide we've ever had. Tas has become a friend and we are already looking forward to planning a weeklong Peloponnese tour with him.We had such a great time with Tas! He was kind and and fun to chat with. We had such a great time with Tas! He was kind and and fun to chat with. He gave us some information about the sights we visited but we would have loved to know more. It was also difficult for everyone in the car to hear him. Arachova was a huge highlight but we had to ask to stop and explore on the way home even though it was listed on the itinerary. I would NOT book this tour with a group of 8 because the front seat is VERY uncomfortable for that length of a drive. Our dinner was so delicious but one member of our group saw Tas was downing beers in the other room while we were eating. He did seem to be swerving a bit on the drive home which made all of us a bit nervous. We were also given 4 different pick up times and ended up waiting outside in the rain for 15 minutes to be picked up. Overall it was a fun day but there are definitely some improvements that could be made.Very clean comfortable van. Driver was extremely nice and helpful. We enjoyed being able to tour at our own pace. Delphi was one of my favorite places we visited!
