What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dalmatia
Start your day with a pickup from your centrally located Dubrovnik hotel, and then travel out of the city by luxury vehicle. While your private guide drives, sit back and relax, admiring the scenic countryside of Župa Dubrovacka Valley and the Konavle region.
Pass By: Bay of Kotor, Kotor, Kotor Municipality Montenegro
Cross the border to Montenegro and travel along the picture-perfect Montenegro coast, typified by sweeping blonde-sand beaches. Pass the UNESCO-listed Bay of Kotor -- Europe’s southernmost fjord --along the way.
Stop At: Perast, Perast, Kotor Municipality
Continue to the neighboring village of Perast, lying at the foot of St Elijah Hill. Much of it was destroyed following an earthquake in the late 1970s, but the gorgeous village still exudes a very Baroque feel with its beautiful villas and churches.
Duration: 45 minutes
Pass By: Our Lady of the Rocks, Island in Boka Bay, Perast, Kotor Municipality 85336 Montenegro
Optionally, take a short boat ride the Our Lady of the Rocks island and admire the art stored inside the small chapel (boat ride fee 10€).
Stop At: Kotor Old City, Stari grad, Kotor, Kotor Municipality 85330 Montenegro
Travel to Kotor, and explore this beautifully preserved medieval town. Learn about the town’s important sailing heritage, having had its own merchant navy under the Byzantine Empire. Visit St Tryphon Cathedral, an elegant Romanesque building.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Budva, Budva, Budva Municipality
Soak up the views and then head to the coastal town of Budva for lunch (own expense). Enjoy a couple of hours here at leisure, perhaps relaxing on its famous beaches or strolling around the pretty streets.
Meet your driver at the pre-arranged time and start your journey back to Dubrovnik, passing along the scenic coastal roads. Enjoy one last treat– a ferry crossing along the Bay of Kotor – and then finish your tour in the late afternoon back at your hotel.

We loved having a knowledgeable private driver who took us where we needed to go and made recommendations. Montenegro is so beautiful and mountainous. Loved all three towns we went to.

If you are able to afford a private tour, I would definitely recommend this one!

We did the private Montenegro tour in March 2023. Our driver and tour guide, Dana, arrived on time with a clean car and quickly we were off to the boarder. She was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the region and gave a fantastic tour throughout the day. I wasn't sure what to expect with the trip but it definitely exceeded expectations. The waterside villages have so much charm and are each very unique. I highly recommend doing this tour as a day to get out of Dubrovnik and experience some new sights. The drive to Kotor was beautiful and Igor was awesome but you said it was a driver and a guide and Igor was just the driver He was not eligible to be a guide in Kotor.
