• Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel/Nile cruise in Luxor to start you adventure discovering both of the west and east banks of Luxor.
• Head first to the west bank and visit Valley of the Kings , the burial place of the kings where the tomb of king Tutankhamun was found by the British archeologist Howard Carter in 1922. You will see the intact tombs of the pharaohs with its vivid colors as if they were painted few days ago although they date back to 1500 BC!!

Stop At: Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, Kings Valley Rd Deir el-Bahari, Luxor 23512 Egypt

Then move to Luxor Temple and watch the gigantic statues of Rameses II standing and setting. Rameses II was the most popular pharaoh in Egypt as he ruled for about 67 years and don't miss watching the sphinx avenue connecting both of Karnak and Luxor temples together

A full 8 hour day guiding us through the history of: Valley Of The Kings Hatshepsut Temple Valley Of The Queens Deir El-Medina Habu Temple Throughout the day, George provided some background of the Luxor region as we drove to the sites of the West Bank. At each site he provided valuable information about the history for the sites we would see. Our guide george is personable and knowledgeable. Go Luxor’s review My wife, my 8yr daughter and myself did 2 tours with Michael and we couldn’t have been happier. Michael’s remit was to keep our tours of Karnak, the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens at a level that will keep Rose (8yr) interested and he did that in spades. He was superb at bringing the stories to life and was constantly engaging her with questions and praise. Initially, I saw that he was a small operator I had concerns. I was also cautious about sending money via Western Union (rather than a credit card) and forwarding passport details in preparation for our journey through the desert from Hurghada to Luxor. I needn’t have worried about a thing. Michael had it all under control and everything happened on time and exactly as he’d said it would. After our Luxor trip and when our plans fell through for our trips out of Cairo 16 hrs before they were supposed to start (which we’d booked with a large consolidator in November - 4 months before travel) we contacted Michael on the off chance he might be able to help us. He sorted us all out with new bookings via his contacts and everything was confirmed over a rather frenzied 2hrs of WhatsApp conversations. Our Cairo visits to the Great Pyramids, Red Pyramid and the Museum with Nader Francis were equally as good and engaging. Clearly the Great Pyramids are a highlight, but I recommend going as early as possible. The Red Pyramid was fantastic as there was literally only a handful of people there and we really appreciated the spacious/remote setting and actually going into it. Clare and I wish Michael all the success he so richly deserves and will gladly, highly recommend him to others.donna_trattore

I went on this tour with a family that I met in Cairo and we figured out that we would be in Luxor on the same dates. So we decided to do a tour together. Since there were two children 9 and 14 years old, the company offered my friends to split the full day into two half-day trips and start early around 7.30 am so it would be easier for the kids. It turned out to be a great idea as the temperature soared to 44-46C after 2 pm. Those were wonderful, overwhelming two days. On the first day, we went to the West bank, and on the second to Luxor and Karnak temples. We had two different guides, Mike and Eereen (female guide), and they both were entertaining and doing their best to make us feel comfortable and engaged. I learned a lot of details about Egyptian culture and it was mind-blowing. Be aware that guiding in the tombs is forbidden so it would be better if you acquire some basic knowledge about Egyptian symbols beforehand. The guide will explain the most interesting aspects and details of a particular tomb and what to pay attention to at the entrance of it but those tombs are gigantic, with well-preserved inscriptions and there are so many interesting details so I got a lot of questions. I would take pictures and then show them to the guide. They would explain. Guiding in the temples is allowed so the guides accompany you and tell the story in real-time, and it's a bit more fascinating because they answer your questions as they arise. Beside explanations, both guides also gave us a lot of free time. I finished the tour with enormous inspiration to learn more about ancient Egypt because it is never enough and there is no end to its mystery. Overall, I had a fantastic time and enjoyed no end, despite the crazy heat of those days. I highly recommend this company for those who wants to be flexible and adjust the tour to their specific needs, enjoy comfort and thoughtful service, or who just wants to have a great time. Mike was absolutely amazing both with his responsiveness and ability to accommodate special requests. Mike was absolutely amazing both with his responsiveness and ability to accommodate special requests. He helped us put together a fantastic itinerary including some great editions like the tomb of Nefertari ( Must do, worth the money ). We did both the west bank and East Bank through Luxor Tours and the guide assigned to us, Ireney, was witty, patient and very very knowledgeable. She's also a fantastic photographer and really helped with negotations at a couple of places we shopped at. Mike also helped us book the Balloon ride ( phenomenal experience- a must do) and was kind enough to help with a bunch of things like arranging an RTPCR test for our daughter and helping with restaurant recommendations. We loved the experience and will definitely book with them again.RJLovich

This was the BEST tour I’ve done in Egypt. A perfectly designed tour to see best parts of Luxor in one day. Our Tour guide, Mike, was incredibly. He knew all the history, ancient stories, and provided detailed descriptions all along the way. DO IT.

Toured Luxor east and west banks and had a blast! Our tour guide Mike was super informative, friendly, and took us to all the best spots before the big crowds got there. 10/10 would recommend and would go again!
