A tour representative will pick you up at 02:30 from your Hurghada hotel for the coach transfer to Cairo. Upon arrival, your Egyptologist guide will take you to the stunning Pyramids of Giza in the Giza Plateau. The oldest of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, the pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and Mykerinos form the major highlight of the Giza Necropolis.
Tour the massive mortuary tombs of the Pharaohs, and the Great Sphinx statue, constructed in the shape of a lion’s body with a human head. Explore the Valley Temple before a light lunch at a local restaurant.

De trip was super geregeld. Op de dag dat wij de excursie hebben geboekt werden wij dezelfde avond nog geappt door onze gids: Khalil. In het Nederlands heeft hij uitgelegd hoe de planning eruit kwam te zien en wat ons te wachten stond. Khalil en zijn collega Amr spreken beide goed Nederlands en ...
De trip was super geregeld. Op de dag dat wij de excursie hebben geboekt werden wij dezelfde avond nog geappt door onze gids: Khalil. In het Nederlands heeft hij uitgelegd hoe de planning eruit kwam te zien en wat ons te wachten stond. Khalil en zijn collega Amr spreken beide goed Nederlands en zijn erg vriendelijk. De reis was goed geregeld in een privé auto met airco. Allereerst zijn we naar het nationaal Museum geweest in Cairo. Daarna zijn we naar de pyramides geweest en wist Khalil alle shortcuts en leuke plekken om te bezichtigen. Nadat we bij de pyramides zijn geweest hebben we een heerlijke lunch gehad en zijn daarna naar het papyrus instituut geweest. Daar hebben wij nog een mooi cadeau van Khalil mogen ontvangen. Tijdens de reis naar Cairo hebben we leuke gesprekken gevoerd en veel gelachen. Deze trip was het allemaal meer dan waard en een ervaring om nooit te vergeten!
