We immediately met my wonderful guide Heba and hit the national museum and several city spots. She was wonderful as she studied anthropology and could even read the hieroglyphics! I thought the city churches were a little boring but the history and stories were still fascinating. Giza and Memphis tour blew my mind… absolutely incredible and having a knowledgeable guide and driver on standby makes it so much easier and a breeze. Sabry was our guide, and we could not have asked for a more INCREDIBLE two days in Cairo and Giza. He was incredibly fun, knowledgeable, and took us to every place we wanted to go while avoiding crowds. Also, if pictures are important to you, Sabry knew EVERY best picture spot at the pyramids, sphinx, Saqqara, and downtown Cairo, our family has pictures that will last a lifetime. His insights and knowledge about ancient Egypt was so impressive, and he answered every questions with knowledge and enthusiasm. He also organized a Felucca sailboat tour on the Nile at sunset, which was very special. Sabry took us to great restaurants, sights, and he was overall just a wonderful person to be around. 10 out of 10 recommend him. First I would like to thank Heba and Tailor Made tours for such great experience during our layover. The tour started with pickup directly from our hotel, and heba and our driver ibrahim were very punctual (arrived early in fact). We were taken directly to the pyramids and heba helped take care of getting us through the giza complex. She is very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of cool information about cairo, the pyramids, the sphinx, and ancient egypt in general. We were then given the option to take a few detours at the end (without any pressure); we opted to go see papyrus making which was great. We ended the tour with some delicious egyptian falafel 😋. Overall I would 100% recommend anyone to take this tour if they have a layover in Egypt. Having a local take you around the pyramids results in a much more comfortable experience. We had an amazing time and the tour went beyond our expectations. We def want to come back to egypt again after this experience for a longer trip and I will now arrange something with tailor made tours again after this experience.
