Pedro was one of the best guides we ever have had. Friendly and knowledgeable - he took us to all the best spots on the island showing us amazing landscapes and views and sharing the cultural richness of Terceira. Visiting the natural pools and going inside the volcano were highlights that we will never forget. Highly recommend this trip!

Had a great time. The driver was great but did not appreciate the fact that they added a charge of 25 Euro to get us back to where we started. The driver was told by his boss to drop us at some small town unless we paid the additional CASH to get back. We had no choice since we had a plane to catch. NOT HAPPY

Nuno was a phenomenal tour guide! We saw so many things in one day. He did a wonderful job of explaining the island’s history, culture, and natural wonders. We highly recommend!

Pedro was our awesome tour guide around Terceira. He was prompt, patient with us (we have 4 young kids), and very knowledgeable about the island and its history. We learned and saw a lot of fascinating things. Pedro was savvy navigating around the island including around the tricky, rainy weather we experienced during the tour. We would 100% recommend this tour and Pedro as the tour guide!

We had only one day on Terceira, so we booked the Private Terceira Island Full Day Tour through TripAdvisor, and we were so glad we did. Our guide, Pedro, was wonderful. While he was showing us some of the island's highlights, he also taught us about the geology, history, culture and resources of the Azores, not to mention recommending a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him, and the background he gave us helped us appreciate the rest of our visit to the Azores.

Our guide, Catarina, took us on a day long experience of Terceira- from the highest view points to the sea- we saw it all and loved every minute. We enjoyed learning about the island and its culture along the way. Catarina was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating- you could tell she loved her home and enjoyed showing it off.

Katarina was an amazing guide and did her best to ensure we hit everything we were interested in. We got a really comprehensive tour of the island and didn't felt like we missed out on anything! Our favorites were all the view points, the Lake Forest, and the lava chimney.

Paulo provided us with a wonderful introduction to Terceira. He was friendly, funny and very passionate and proud of his home island. He took us to the important historical sites and the breathtaking viewpoints. We especially enjoyed seeing the agricultural patchwork and exploring Algar do Carvao.

We enjoyed learning more about the history of the island and the scenery was breathtaking. Our guide, Pedro Silva, was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, was a good driver, and best of all he clearly loves Terciera and enjoyed sharing it with us. This was our third guided day trip in Azores. All were good, but this was the best.

Roy waited patiently at the airport as our flight was delayed from Sao Miguel, and ushered us into an extremely comfortable BMW. He was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to show us the highlights and answer any questions we had (we had lots!) The highlight was definitely the Volcano--simply amazing to wander down inside what was once an inferno of molten lava. Even though it rained part of the day he planned our time so we were inside when it was less than ideal. Can't wait to go back to this lovely island--highly recommend this tour

Spot Tourism were excellent in organizing several activities for us. They suggest a 4 day schedule that provided excellent tours and transportation. Our guide Rui was knowledgeable and generous with his time. We would highly recommend any of their tour options!

We were only going to spend one day on this island so we thought a private tour was the way to go. They tailored it to our needs and suggested a spectacular rare place for us to go and even suggested a wonderful restaurant for lunch in town. My husband wanted to see lava caves and she suggested going to Algar do Carvao which is one of only two intact volcano cones/vents in the world and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend it, and taking this tour. She showed us a lot of the history and beauty of the island.

The tour was great. Our guide Pedro was fantastic, very knowledgable and passionate about sharing his island. He tailored the tour for us, as we had already visited some of the sites. It’s a beautiful island and we leave knowing more about its rich culture and history. We would definitely recommend, thanks Pedro!

I'm so happy I booked this tour. My family of 4 was only on the island for 24 hours and our guide was able to tailor our private tour accordingly. She picked up us at our hotel at 9am, put all of our luggage in her car, and dropped us off at the airport at 3pm. She was very knowledgeable about Terceira and the Azores. We learned and saw so much. I completely recommend this tour!

After reading the reviews here I booked a day trip with Spot Tourism Activities and wasn't disappointed! The pick up and drop off times were tailored to the flight times, and Nuno proved to be a great guide. He suggested the itinerary suitable to our abilities (we travelled as family group, aged between 6 and 60s) so all could enjoy the sights and attractions of Terceira. Very knowledgeable and just genuinely nice person. Nuno went above and beyond helping us on other issues that arose, for which we will be forever grateful.

We booked the full day tour of the island a couple of days before. We were picked up from our holiday house in the North of the island at 9.30am and travelled in a van. Lots of space for the 4 of is which was great. The tour guide (a local who spoke very good English) was great. We discussed the itinerary before setting off to make sure it included what we wanted to see. Lots of stops and the guide was happy to answer all our questions. Would definitely recommend as a great way to see a lot of the island in a day.

The best way to get a good bearing of the island and local knowledge was priceless for the rest of the stay. Ana started by asking us if there was any location in particular that we wanted to see, where we had already been and how long we were here, then proceeded to zoom all over the place, showing and explaining everything along the way. She stopped thoughtfully every time there was a photo opp and even ensured the children enjoyed themselves. It was so great to take a day off and be escorted by her, and we appreciated all the knowledge that she had of the island that we used for the rest of our stay.

Gave a complete view of island going to places off the beaten path. Wonderful day that made island come alive.
