While our guide was a lovely person, he wasn't very engaging and this felt more like a long cab ride. Actually we learned more from many of the cab drivers. He pretty much just drove around Paris and from time to time pointed out buildings or sites. He missed major sites like the Obelisk or the De Gaulle statue. We asked about them and he just ignored us - it was only later that we found out the obelisk which we drove by twice is the oldest artifact in Paris. Having been to Paris numerous other times before, I knew there were many monuments and much information he neglected to share. We were asking questions for a while but then gave up as he wasn't answering us. He was perfectly pleasant but honestly this really wasn't much of a tour and there are far better tour guides out there.
