Great tour, friendly and knowledgeable driver. The tour was about an hour and in that time we saw alot of the town. There were a couple of photo stops enroute. It was a fun way to see Matera.

Francesco, our guide, was friendly and gave us very clear explanations. Wir sind eher durch Zufall auf diese Firma gestoßen. Ich bin normalerweise bei solchen Rundfahrten eher skeptisch was versprochen und dann geboten wird. Ich habe deshalb auch über den Tag die Diversen anbieter bei ihren „Touren“ beobachtet. Wie so oft: rein in die Kiste, mit vollgas durch die Stadt, Erklärungen??? , und wieder raus. Wir haben den Versuch gewagt und waren total überrascht. Unser Guide Francesco war eine große Überraschung. Freundlich, höflich gleichzeitig diskret und hat uns wirklich alle Punkte die man in so kurzer Zeit sehen kann gezeigt. Seine Erklärungen waren einfach toll. Er hat so viel über die Geschichte, die Entwicklung und historischen Zusammenhänge der Stadt erklärt, einfach toll und spannend. Man konnte nicht genug bekommen. Sein Englisch ist sehr gut und so konnten wir als deutsche wirklich alles verstehen. Man merkt ihm an das er die Stadt liebt aus der er kommt. Eine wirklich tolle Tour mit genügen Zeit für Fotos und Eindrücke zu genießen. Schade das wir nach DER Erfahrung nicht die große Tour gebucht haben! Es fahren ja ein Haufen von den APE durch Matera.
