We booked a private tour of the city and it ended up being the best tour of our entire trip! They were quick to respond and easy to set up the tour. Caro picked us up at our hotel which made an easy start to the day. She custom tailored the schedule to what was best for our needs. We were traveling as a family of 4, with kids, 12 and 8 years old. She was able to adapt the tour so that it was interesting for both the adults and kids and she was completely flexible in what we wanted to do. She took us to places at the right time, to avoid the crowds. There were just a few other tourists in Comuna 13 when we were there. But as we were leaving, huge crowds of people were coming to the area. It made us feel that we had a very unique experience. However, the best part of the tour was to have a local who grew up in town give us a personal understanding of the city and how it has changed over the years. I would highly recommend this tour company for any tour, you can tell they go above and beyond. Caro even helped us months after our tour by providing information on Colombia for my daughter's school project! Carolina was absolutely amazing! Communication was fantastic from the very beginning. Her English is incredible and she was just a delight to be around. She knew so much about the city and gave us an informative tour- it was like having a knowledgeable friend give you a tour because she was so much fun. She was patient and kind and encouraged us to move at our own pace. I am currently living in Medellin, but I brought my parents on this tour who were visiting from the US- I couldn’t believe how much I learned about the city where I am living! This tour is a must.
