This is the best way to understand the place you may feel you have been dropped into. Our guide was full of information about the city, the monuments, history, everything! We were driven around certain areas and most areas we walked. Had we not been following our guide we would have missed out on many of the secrets of the city. Lunch was quiet and very nice in the heart of the medina. Overall an amazing experience that every first time visitor the Marrakech should take to really know the city and to find your way about.

My friend and I spent 1 week in Marrakech on our own. The hotels we had booked were authentic Moroccan with wonderful roof top terraces where breakfast was served. We explored the souks, the Yves St. Laurent Museum, rode a horse drawn carriage and enjoyed eating local food. At no time did we feel unsafe. The people are friendly and helpful. I plan to return.
Everything great. The guide was there before the pick up at our riad and was very informative. All the places in the market and the carpet corporative were amazing. Good tagine lunch.

This is a great way to see a lot of the city. We loved the gardens and enjoyed the little shop inside them. If we hadnt had Abduls help navigating the Medina shops we would have been so lost! As with all tour guides, there were specific stops planned with partner shops but if we were clear that this is not of interest to us, he let us skip the shop. This is a long day with lots of things to see. The tour description indicated a 5 hour day I think but we were out almost 8. Lunch was very nice at a Riad in the Medina.
Our guide Oidad was a joy, and we spent a lovely afternoon at the major sights in the Medina. Well worth the time to find the 'real' Marrakech! Our host Hamid at Riad Haraka welcomed us into his place an was very helpful with transportation.
